If a single episode can make or break an anime, it is more often than not the ending which does so – thus anime fans have helpfully sought to rank what are in their opinions some of the least convincing finales in anime history.
Whilst the ranking itself contains no spoilers, it seems highly probable the comments might.
1. Neon Genesis Evangelion
2. Angel Beats!
3. Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko
4. Code Geass: Hangyaku no Lelouche
5. Shakugan no Shana II
6. Zero no Tsukaima
7. Black Butler II
8. Dead Man Wonderswan
9. Highschool of the Dead
10. Spiral
HOTD isnt even over yet. WTF?
Am I the only one not surprised that Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt’s ending didnt make the list?
Here’s an “oldie” for those that can remember it. 😛
Shigurui: Death Frenzy
Ok, you set up the fight between two bitter rivals, you then explore how they got to that stage. From Rival 1’s arrival to the dojo (stuff inbetween) to Rival 1 killing the Sensei of Rival 2. Then the series is over.
No explanation as to how Rival 2 lost his arm.
No resolution on their fight, just a note in the first episode that 22 Samurai participated in the tournament, that 8 were killed by their opponent and 6 matches ended in dual kills.
That really doesn’t narrow it down much, could’ve been one of the dual kill matches, one of the clear winner ones (one of 2 matches), or it could’ve been one of the matches where no fatalities occurred, even though that’s hard to believe considering how much blood flowed in the series.
it’s nerdy, but Digimon Tamers 2
High School of the Dead hasnt ended yet though. The anime just got cut off…
i’m disappionted to not see outlaw star on this list
Agreed.
Sadly that anime had more than its far share of BS. Least they actually got to the layline.
Am i supposed to give this list any credibility when “Berserk” is not included in it!?
Seriously!?
Really really!?
You shitting me!?
Never have i been so aghast with an anime ending as i did with Berserk.
There IS NO ENDING.
The show is merely a grand scale prologue for the real story that can only be followed in the manga afterwards.
WHAT!?
Nobody cares about what you think is credible.
This list was conjured up by 2ch, which means only modern anime that people remember is going to make it.
None of the 2ch otaku today remember the Berserk anime or care about it’s “ending” since they’ve all read the manga and know that the anime is just a faithful glimpse of one storyline arc of many. They know what happens next, therefore the “ending” of the anime isn’t such a big deal to them.
It’s amazing just how fucking stupid and stuck up you are.
Your comment is most amusing and filled to the brim with hypocrisy.
Congrats, you win the internetz.
Eureka 7, Fucking where!!!?
I have to admit I have only watched some of these series but haven’t really seen any comments on Angel Beats. I actually enjoyed the ending and didnt think it was bad… It’s suppose to be sad… ='(
I dunno i think Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko had a horrible ending. It wasn’t a WTF ending but more like it just didn’t end. I never finished Deadman Wonderland but from what I hear the budget only allowed so much in a time frame so I’m sure it was unconvincing. The manga wasn’t even finished yet.Zero no Tsukaima ain’t over there’s a 4th season. Why is this even on the list? Angel Beats had a good ending! What is everyone talking about! The only problem I had with it was the middle part. The middle part was too rushed for 13 eps. Spiral agreed, wtf is this ending? Evangelion epic ending but WHAT THE HELL? Highschool of the Dead, well it surpassed manga and dropped off. Code Geass’s ending was surprising but not WTF. Lelouche did fake his death. Didn’t you watch past the credits. It shows Lelouche riding a cart in the countryside with a hooded passenger. And as for Shana that ain’t over YET, but I can see how it maybe unconvincing.
wth I thought the ending for Angel Beats was great! 😡
Yeah, Evangelion was a bit of an anticlimax. That’s why they remade the last two episodes.
Is that for codegeass first season? I thought the 2nd season had the best ending of all time 🙂
I actually didn’t mind HoTD ending, I actually found it pretty good with the escape and making it to a good place for season 2 to starts
The list itself is unconvincing.
Trinity Blood (Ending too rush)
Samurai X (Kenshin)
Dual
GTO (Anime version compare to manga version)
Mahou Sensei Negima (1st season)
Denpa Onna ending was a disappointment
Also HSTD
But Angel Beats was like it should’ve been I think
for me, it would be Gungrave. the ending is too fck up that i throw away the cd. almost all of them were just recently aired.
Does Dead Man Wonderswan even exist!?
Shangrila needs to be top of the list. I’ve never seen so much cool, mysterious lead-up to last-minute made-up crap to not really explain anything or make sense at all to the story. I was obsessed! Then so, so, disappointed. It was a classic lolwut. Agreed?
Tenjou Tenge! That was the most crappy ending I have ever seen.
Seriously, what with “I’m no good, I can’t do anything, my sister has stolen the man I love, but wait! I can’t give up now~~~ *jumps off shool building and flies toward the ground*” >.>
And the movie was just one long fucking recap!
why you guys cant just stop to rank and rank everything again? Its okay to say this anime is good, this anime is bad or even okay to make advertisement, but its the worst to say “look you bastard; Neon Genesis Evangelion is the best! and Spiral just place 10!”.its phatetic to rank, the most dislike a democratic choice anyways, even if its “fair” on one or two points the other points in the ranking would be unfair automatically.
horray for continuation for 5 & 6
this list is missing Elfen Lied
Chaos;Head anyone? if that even can count as an ending.
Rozen Maiden… -__-
kare kano.
Ghost Hound where? :/
Spiral appeared on this list? What the forgettable fuck? Did fujoshi’s really care that much about this?
That was in my top 5 “Most likely to put me to sleep,” right alongside Touch, Hack.Sign (the first one), that-one-Clamp-one-that-everyone-slobbered-over-oh-wait, and I’m trying to remember the last one but something is hap-n…ning… think I’ll… zzzzzzz.
Is this a ranking for individual seasons too? A lot of these aren’t over yet. Denpa Onna, Shakugan no Shana, and Zero no Tsukaima all have another season announced. So this list is already wrong….or maybe I’m just mistaken about something.
I kept asking, ‘So… what’s Denpa Onna about?’ after 12 episodes.
Even without a second season, Denpa Onna still has one more episode to go.
Where’s Soul Eater? The end of the anime made absolutely no sense. It was pretty epic, but.. wtf?
Unconvincing of what? What they’re over?
Nobody liked Shinji being happy with his sense of worth, so Gainax made a movie and KILLED EVERYBODY.
Zero no tsukaima doesn’t actually have an ending yet, does it? Season 4 has yet to come out. And I don’t really think code geass belongs in this list
Easy Solution?: Read the Fucking Manga/Novel/Ergoewhatever
The anime is not based on anything? Blame the studio.
Real people blame the ones really at fault; the Japanese citizens. They’re the ones who are lead by the nose from mindless work to mindless work, without questioning why something was never finished. If they stopped being such trend following lemmings, we’d see endings to a lot of unfinished works.
wut? no k-on for this list? XDDD
The first season of HOTD is open ended.
I know I’ll get raked over the coals for this one but I didn’t like Clannad: After Story’s ending.
>implying HSotD will ever get a 2nd season
not gonna happen, even the manga is dead. the artist released just enough chapters to bundle a final volume together and sell it to yen press.
I guess people are unconvinced that the anime simply came to the end that it did. It’s pretty obvious the author wanted more, but doesn’t have whatever backing (production, viewership) he needed to continue.
Sorry but with the manga still running, you can’t say that for sure. I would say production bullshit… and a slow-ass pace of the original story-
They made this list just to piss us off and it’s working. Whether your pissed off because you see something you think shouldn’t be on the list, or because you don’t see something you think should be on the list. -_-
Where the hell is Soul Eater? It deserves a spot on any ‘good series with what-the-hell-happened bad endings’ list.
i was expecting for peace maker kurogane for appear in the list, that last episode change everything
where is spice and wolf i think this one hvaea very unconvicing ending u,u
the novel is not finished yet~ so their journey still ongoing~
Hey why is DWDL called deadman wonderswan?
No berserk?
Black Butler II should never have existed, I used to like that show before it became a fangirl anime.
>>implying Black Butler was ever anything BUT a fangirl anime
*Cough* i am going to say it again until someone else brings it up..
“Initial D”
the story still ongoing~ wait for the next season my friend~ (if it ever comes)
Wheres Berserk, Claymore, HSD Kenichi, Full Metal Panic??? and as someone mentioned earlier, DARKER THAN BLACK AND DTBG?
The Manga for Berserk isnt even finished yet, and they are working on continuing the Anime . Im disappointed in almost all anime endings, No one likes it when a story ends.
Full metal panic, ga-rei-zero, zombie loan, break blade (doesn’t follow the manga), angel beats, Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko, dead man wonderland, D gray man, Ichiban Ushiro no Daimaou, Tsubasa, Togainu no Chi, Claymore, Phantom requiem of the phantom (everything is good till the credits it’s like the biggest troll in anime history), Elfen lied, Initial D, Mai otome (the manga is three trillion times better to top it off the story is entirely different) ,Tekkon Kinkreet, Kite liberator, The Sacred Blacksmith, Yu-yu hakusho, darker than black.
That’s what instantly comes to mind.
I know i have seen tuns more.
The Ga-Rei Zero series was meant more to set-up the world in which the manga would be playing.
So in that regard the transition/ending makes sense.
Gotta agree with The Blacksmith one, but even the manga itself still has a long way to go, before everything gets resolved.
Could’ve been a similar situation as with HSotD, I guess.
Deadman Wonderswan? What anime is that.
I loved the Boobs of highscholl of the dead ending
Ano Hi Mita needs to be on the list.
T__T Ano Hana have one of the best Ending ever (come on she’s dead long ago, it was expected)
I guess its another “i got nothing to do, lets make a top 10 to piss every otaku off” time. eh.
I disagree with the entry for Shakugan no Shana. It was RELATIVELY true to the novels, and going even TEN SECONDS later would completely ruin your experiences with the 3rd season/novels. YOU CANNOT KNOW THE RESULT, not without seriously consequence. Full Life Consequences.
The only good thing about these endings is that the anime ended as well.
3, 6 and 9 haven’t even finished in their original forms, so this list is partial fail. I know there are other reasons why it’s made of the fail, but this was the most glaring imo.
The ending of the second season of Black Butler was FUCKED UP. I wanted that little shit to die.
BLADE! ready to die?
Where is Claymore?
Have you even read the manga -_-
They’re talking about anime not manga
Not a word about Madoka?
I loved that series, but the way they wrapped it up, it was like someone writing a story on a page and then suddenly realizing there were only a couple lines left.
“Errr… and they lived happily ever after, the end!”
Pacing is to blame. The limit on episodes. I found Kyouko’s sudden sympathy for Sayaka to be really hard to believe. She goes from “I want to kill you” to “I will die for you” in just two episodes.
you thought that ending was happy? you missed a lot
It’s ambiguous but tidy. I think it’s ominous, but without spoiling too much for others… yeah, it was pretty much a happy ending.
I hope that Code Geass listed there is for the first season and not the second… cuz the second had a satisfying ending… well for me anyway >.>… though I still am on the side that Lelouch is alive…
Higurashi. Takano gets off scot-free just cause she has Hinamizawa Syndrome.
And before anyone says “But she didn’t do anything in THIS timeline.” She killed Rika’s parents in ALL timelines.
There is that. But having an abusive background automatically gives her a ‘Karma Houdini’ pass. You don’t see Rika getting any shit for being so blatantly stu-; SOCIALLY INEPT. Yeah. Seriously, all problems can be solved (in some way or another) by talking about nakama to Keiichi. He can rally villages with his charisma.
#1 shikabane hime
Actually, Shikabane Hime had one of the best anime endings out there. Too bad most of the rest sucked.
wha? did you even watch the ending? the last two episode was like “what the crap was that?”…
No…… one of my favs – Makina! Ok it can be #11 on the list thats as far as I can go.
1. Adding prequel series to this list is stupid
2. Denpa hasn’t officially ended(Ep13 is in the BD)
3. Toriko was decent until the last episode..
Meant Tokko*
Where is 11eyes?
Fucking this, the anime was good until the last few episodes, then it became complete shit.
That would be when they deviated from the story from the original game…
Dead Man Wonderswan…lol as if we needed more proof that these top ten lists are bullshit.
The Japanese list lists it as Wonderland correctly, so your line of reasoning is retarded. Not that it really matters because these are just polls less than a thousand people voted upon.
The original ending of Evangelion sucked, but Hideaki Anno corrected this by re-doing the final two episodes and adding “End of Evangelion”. Against his will, he was rushed to complete the original series. It’s popularity allowed him a second chance.
High School Of The Dead doesn’t have an ending. It leaves the story open for a sequel. I’m hoping they make one.
As for the others on the list: Who cares?
Panty and Stocking isn’t on the list?
What part of Panty & Stocking was believable in the first place? :p
Mai Hime should be on there, that ending was such a cop out.
Mai otome not hime.
Mai-hime felt like your typical anime happy ending but the ride all the way threw the anime was entirely worth it.
I felt like the series had to do such a complete 180 just to get to that typical happy ending and it really just doesn’t fit given everything leading up to it. I loved the ride up to the end, but I like to think that the last episode never existed.
I semi-agree… at least the manga had a more fulfilling ending.
YOU GOT THAT RIGHT~~!
Deadman Wonderswan Plot Synopsis: A highschool boy named Junichiro purchases an old Wonderswan system at a local antique shop while on summer vacation at his Aunt’s house. Unbeknownst to Junichiro, the system is haunted by the spirit of a hikkikomori named Akika who committed suicide a year prior. For Akika to pass into the next world, she must atone for her suicide by preventing the suicides of 108 other people across Japan. Junichiro, being the only person who can see and hear her, agrees to help Akika on her task. A comedy/supernatural hybrid with light horror and romanced elements.
PANDORA HEARTS, FUCKING WHERE!!??!?
I totally forgot what this ending was but this series needs a sequel I liked
Seriously agreed.
5 and 6 seem quite pointless being on that list.
Shana III airs this fall.
And ZnT has it’s forth and final season next Fall.
More than half the list already either have sequels, have sequels planned, or come from a manga which isn’t finished. Of course the ending isn’t going to be great.
“Unconvincing” isn’t the word that comes to mind when thinking about most of those titles in the list.
More like “no ending at all”.
HOLY SHIT. Spiral should be number one on that list. What a completely clusterfucked halfassed ending.
i want to ride that pic
Yeah, I’m not sure what’s so unconvincing about Busujima’s ending. She showed it to us plenty of times.
where the hell is Yumekui Merry?
you should realize that shows that nobody gave a shit about aren’t going to make any top ten list.
What’s that show?
I know NGE’s ending is hated by many, and that’s understandable… It’s confusing and doesn’t make sense unless you really pay attention… (I, for one, loved the ending)
Now, Code Geass: LotR’s ending, Deadman Wonderland (or Wonderswan…?) and HoTD’s endings are all pointing for second seasons… and anybody with a brain (and knowledge of anime) knows Code Geass HAS a season two.
So no friggin’ duh these animes would have endings like they did… If they conclude them like, “Everybody lived happily ever after…” or “Ding dong, the witch is dead!” then a second season would be more of a “WTF…” Of course you’re getting a cliffhanger on a series that has yet to end…
I would add the Gantz anime, The Big O, and Wolfs Reign to name a few anime of the many that has shit endings.
Also High School of the Deads ending? What was wrong with that?
I hated the Wolfs Rain ending.. It made me feel like I just wasted all of the time I spent watching the show. I kept waiting for the big payoff and it never came.
newfags
How about Hanaukyo Maid tai where the last episodes was taped over by one of the characters and not finished till the remake.
Or Kamen no Maid guy which ends BEFORE she gets her inheritance and the bad guy is still out there.
why isn’t ranma 1/2 on this list.
That had an ending?
exactly
Ya, the last 30 ISSUES of Ranma was the worst ending ever. Rumiko is Queen of reader torture. She does it on purpose for fun. No carrot for you at the end.
XD yeah, life goes on ending~
Cowboy Bebop
“Bang”….Roll Credits…..NOOOOO!!! WTF
Neon Genesis Evangelion had an odd ending anyway, even it’s true shit ending was when the world effing ended and everyone dead save for two people. Seriously, what kind of ending was that!?
No one died in that ending (aside from the people that were already dead before the unification happened). The whole point of the Human Instrumentality Project is take everyone’s consciousness and combine in into a single being. It was mentioned at the end that anyone with a strong sense of self will eventually be able to emerge from the primordial sea. Either way, everyone is still alive within the primordial sea as a single thought entity.
With those two running the show, the rest of the people were better off dead.
The world didn’t die in EoE..in fact, no one did. If you think that you really missed what happened.
Shana will have third season and proper ending so I don’t see there any problem, it’s also my most anticipated anime this year
Wait there’s not going to be another season of Highschool of the Dead? noooooooooooooooooooo
Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko is not done! The ending was not aired because of the earthquake.
>No K-On at a Top List
WTF!!!???
K-On doesn’t even have a storyline…
A top list without K-on obviously isn’t a real list.
Anime > real life
But anime isn’t real
Your fake list there fore is better then the REAL lists
the plot for k-on is that they are trying to get us to buy shit by being moe then we eventually want to corrupt them (read Mugi+creampie).
IT DOES HAVE A STORY O.O
in doujin ones i think o.O
or maybe the real plot begins when they got kidnapped and sold at human trafficking at london.
to answer your question:
Autofellatio is the act of oral stimulation of one’s own penis as a form of masturbation. It is physically possible for men who have sufficient flexibility, penis size or a combination of the two to perform autofellatio. Autofellatio is a niche in pornography.
Physical aspects-
Few men possess sufficient flexibility and penis length to safely perform the necessary frontbend. However, increased flexibility achieved via gravity-assisted positions, and physical training such as gymnastics, contortion, or yoga may make it possible for some. American biologists Craig Bartle and Alfred Charles Kinsey reported that fewer than 1% of males can successfully orally contact their own penis and that only 2 or 3 men in a thousand could perform a full autofellatio. Previously, autofellatio was considered by behavioristic science a problem rather than as a variety in sexual practice.
i dont like the strike witches II ending i think is going to end well but the ending was strange to me
sorry for my english XD
Damn Eva and its nonsensical ending. I suppose it’s worked out since people are STILL talking about it almost 15 years later, but it still annoys me.
Of the others, while Code Geass’s ending seemed like an asspull I didn’t hate it. SnS/ZnT’s endings are about what you’d expect from two shows covering a much longer series of novels and having to come up with an ending that kinda resolves things but also leaves it open for a sequel (and both are getting new seasons now).
Of all of these, Denpa Onna’s ending left the worst taste in my mouth. It had some interesting characters and just some hints of some alien stuff being real, but the ending wasn’t at all satisfying. It’s to the point where I was thinking of buying it on Blu Ray, but now I’m probably not going to since the ending really dictates how you felt about the whole series.
Denpa Onna’s not done. There is another episode that wasn’t aired because of the earthquake.
That does explain a lot. Its presence on this list indicates that’s not an excuse though–after all, if it was going to air it that week anyway they could have aired it online.
Angel Beats had IMO a great ending.
try uncreative cheesy cliche.
The only believable pairing is Hinata and Yui, Yuzuru(otonashi) and Kanade(angel) was just bulkshit.
XD Otonashi’s a lolicon, definitely~
I thought the ending to Highschool of the Dead was blowing my load on a piece of tissue.
At least that’s always when I’d stop watching.
why is there unfinished anime on this list?
There is a difference between ending with a good transition for a sequel and ending with something unrelated or imaginable.
Where are Darker than Black and Darker than Black Ryuusei no Gemini?
Can Zero no Tsukaima and Shakugan no Shana be on here since its been long anounced that both are getting a final season to wrap things up?
Highschool of the dead I can’t call that an ending it’s more like this is all we’re animating now go read the manga.
HotD pretty much ran out of source material to animate, and rather than do some filler episodes which might conflict with the ongoing plotline, they pretty much decided to have it halt at the Mall.
Which would be the next story-arc if you want to call it that, considering it has some pretty decent character impact on the group.
Main prob is, the mangaka behind it, is pretty slow with his work, so it’s going to be a while, before there’s enough for a second season, essentially.
Where is Soul Eater?
That was the dumbest way to beat an final evil boss thing ever.
as soon as i saw that i lost all respect for soul eater
I hope Bones is just being smart and saving up the other 60+ episodes when there’s enough manga material.
This list is a bit strange to me other than Evangelion, because they didn’t actually ‘end’ the story at all. Only Evangelion sounds to me like an anime that was way too ambitious to know how to properly end it. Everything else just went on a weird hiatus. Even Darker than Black didn’t feel final for some reason.
The problem with the final two episodes of Evangelion was that Gainax ran out of MONEY! If you all vaguely recall the teaser at the end of 23, you get to see Ritsuko face forward in water and Misato sliding down a wall with BLOOD smearing a trail behind her.
+
I think they erased it when all those “redits” occurred and you’ll only be able to see them in the Original ADV DvDs~~~
The list LOST IT.
I would have had “Big O” Up there as well, with all of the other, “Wait, what just happend?…. I’m going to have to watch it again are’t I?” endings.
Adult Swim is to blame for that. They had it all planned for a third season but AS pulled the plug on it all.
So I wouldn’t entirely blame Big O itself for the confusing ending. It was just setting up all the major elements.
I hadn’t thought about it, but you’re right. The ending of Big O was pretty bad. All that build up just to find out that nothing is real.
Well, the odd NGE sequence aside, the ending of Darker Than Black was sensible and satisfying.
And I think the beginning of Ryuusei no Gemini was probably a bigger point of contention, what with managing to throw absolutely all the character and thematic development of the first season out the window, then introducing a boring Mary Sue character to boot.
Eva has logical ending!
Everyone turns into orange juice.
BEST ENDING EVAR!
I think they meant the series.
“Dead Man Wonderswan”
lol?
Those swans are dangerous than their look.
O.O
It works wonders, right?
I don’t think I need to read the rest of the comments to know that a lot of people are pointing this out.
I laughed too, but maybe is an typing error.
But yes… all these anime has rare endings :S
I think that’s the main point of a “WTF” kinda ending this list is trying to tell us without really “telling” us.
The fact we are still talking about them to this day is proof enough that their endings did what they set out to accomplish, they’re still on our minds and occasional topics of conversation 😀
probably typing error.
Why not include Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann I mean after he(Simon) become a hero, a president , a prisoner and a hero again who save the universe after that he becomes a……Beggar in the End??? What a Bullshit!!!
“Lords of the rings” isn’t better : human becomes king, while elf and dwarf are promoted gardener and mason
Tenga Toppa’s ending was so moving I shed manly tears for several days. To see old Simon reflect on a life of pure epicness while gazing at a world that no longer needed him and could never, ever understand how he and his companions struggled to create this future. To think of the loss, putting eveything on the line over and over and over again and then finally, finally being able to pass the torch to a new generation and fade into myth like his friends..
can’t type….eyes…filling with tears again…
Code Geass’ ending was great. Though in my opinion lelouch should not have died.
i still think he didnt die, since he took C.C.’s geass right before he died. fooling everyone of his death and preserving his promise with C.C. at the same time.
But the ending really did make me sad =(
That, and it was his wish to open a path for others to go through.
This list makes me wonder about code geass though. Was a darn good ending.
he didnt become a beggar, he became a wanderer planting flowers for nia’s wish….
Ending like that reduce this anime from great to just average. They should watch and learn from dragon ball. Don’t kill character for convenient.
I thought Angel Beats and Code Geass both had a good ending….and the second season of Black Butler’s ending wasn’t that bad at all.
Code Geass’s ending was retarded. Actually most of R2 was, but the ending was just stupider than the rest of it.
T_T Retarded? I was shedding manly tears~ heck it can’t be better~ or else it will be just like other cliche series ending
What!? Code Geass was amazing. Both the first AND second season! No, ESPECIALLY the second season!
Why would there be a season 2? The story is done.
Agree. They should’ve left things like they were.
Deadman Wonderswan???
lolwut?? you mean Wonderland right??
*jogs in place*
Sign: “Please do not feed or abuse the Wonderswans”
That emo shit should be on the first place in this list.
>Deadman Wonderswan
hahaha, oh wow
The ending of Occult Academy was the dumbest one that Anon think.
So you think Code Geass had a unconvincing ending ? Are you on drugs ?
OMG Spiral… That so needed to be on the list.
Code Geass: Hangyaku no Lelouche
Angel Beats!
Dead Man Wonderswan
why r these on the list.. saw like 100s off anime without an ending at all (real or not).. or with gibberish endings like Evangelion..
WHAT~~!!
NO~!!
CHRONO~!!
CRUSADE~!!
FCKN~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ FAIL
What? Chrono Crusade’s ending UNCONVINCING? Like you thought it was going to go down any differently at the end. Get out.
I don’t see what’s wrong with Angel Beats! ending…
Otonashi: Let’s all disappear!
….
Otonashi: Kanade please don’t disappear!
Otonashi: Nooooooo!
….
Otonashi: Ok, I disappear now.
Let’s not get started on the computer stuff that Yuri discovered…
I think everyone is retarded that thinks angel beats was good as a whole..
They could have done SOOO much better to make it didn’t feel like the ending shit on you.
Well the Evangelion ending in the anime was pretty weak, it didnt have anything to do with the story other than an extreme psychological focus and honestly I’m not into psychological when not needed, if anything it left the story with no conclusion other than Shinji dealing with his inferiority complex brought on by his father’s selfishness.
It had to with everything in the series.
The Evangelion original ending explain all that Shinji went through in his head through the series.
And that’s why it was brilliant, in most animes the series explain what will happen at the end but in Evangelion the ending explains what happened through the series.
Evangelion was about Shinji and the ending explained shinji.
The problem that most people have is that it wasn’t big robots smacking each other ergo it must suck. I dont think like that and that is why i dont like all the later endings. The first one was perfect.
I guess I’m the only anime fan who prefers the original ending. I never liked Shinji, and the original ending exposes him for what he really is.
i also like original ending it beats all the movie endings
The end of Eva ending exposed Shinji more for what he was. The original ending had no resolution to the instrumentality project along with the rest of the cast. Did people even watch this anime?
Nope, i too prefer the original series ending.
When they say Code Geass, are they referring to season 1 or 2? Because there’s a BIG difference with the endings.
What a nonsensial list. There are definitely about 200 anime that never even got considered.
Angel Beats had a quite nice ending imo, it fit very well into the flow of the story.
And I sure hope with Code Geass they mean season 2, because the -real- ending was the best and most awesome ending I’ve seen in the hundreds of anime I’ve watched .
Also.. D.Gray-Man ?? where is it? They ended the story RIGHT in the middle of it then they gave a PREVIEW by showing some mysterious things and in the end they pop up a fucking FIN. And no second season in sight for probably at least 10 years.
I don’t know how it could possibly get any more messed up.
Please read the manga and learn a little bit more about the health problems of the author of D-grayman before posting absurdities like this, ok?
Health problem or not, it doesn’t change that the ending was unconvincing. I didn’t say it was the manga authors fault.
But if the studio knew about it then they still could’ve ended it better. For example -without- showing any kind of preview.
See Hunter X Hunter, the author had health problems too and the anime had a convincing ending.
eh i meant season 1 for cc of course
Deadman Wonderland
and Angel Beats is aweseome can’t wait for season 2 bitchezzzzzzzzzzz
