The “Chinese edition” of Soredemo Machi wa Mawatteiru has lately been attracting attention for any number of reasons – mostly relating to its rather spectacularly suspect cover…
Aside from being the world’s first UMDBDDVD9, the total lack of any connection to Soredemo Machi wa Mawatteiru (女僕咖啡廳 in Chinese) certainly puts the package firmly in “China quality” territory.

In any case, "Maid Cafe" is a common theme. The anime simply used this term as its title. It's a valid choice of name, but the anime don't own the term.
As an anology, if you name your dog "New York," when someone talks of New York on the street, they're likely referring to the city, and probably don't even know about your dog.
The collaged together cover is likely ripoff of something, but not the anime.
they might be copy cats, but they are a fail in that too. a copycat is very hard to distinguish.

one in the midle is rather obvious.

Hmmm... for a country that hates Japan till the grave, China somehow is "interested" in Japanese culture; Exp: Gundam copy, Bullet train copy, anime copy....
Too obvious to tell that they're just using random catgirl artworks from various artists as an art cover for a totally unrelated ('cept for the title) anime series. That's pretty much how those so-called Original Anime DVDs sold in Malaysia look like; the last time I saw a Kaze No Stigma DVD with "Zero No Tsukaima" written small under the main title, along with a cover art which is a mashup of Shakugan No Shana and Polyphonica.
So what is actually inside the case? How can anyone know what they are getting, and so why would they buy it?
No regard for copyrights and little to no advertising laws = Why the hell is anyone surprised by this?

I registered here just to explain that cover.... Really! >_>
There's a lot of those being exported here in the Philippines and I can explain how they are made and how they are sold.
1) Search for an anime they are requested for in Google.
2) Download the first ten images that appear in Google images (This will the cover and screenshots, this explains the very unrelated images.)
3) Search then download any fan translations of that anime, if no fan translations, put it a translation software and wala! English subtitles!
4) Reconvert all files so they will be less than 200MB per episode, making it possible to fit all episodes (Even 20+ episodes) in a single DVD. Quality is lousier than VCD as a result.
5) Profit.
It's called a UMDBDDVD9 because it will play in a Blueray player or PS3 (Because it plays DVDs) , it will play in a PSP (Which supports MPEG) , and -9 because it will run in a Dual Layer compatible DVD player.
It's just a normal single layer DVD-R inside.

In case of Soredemo, we know that the show had superior animation. All the other shows have yet to prove stuff for themselves.

Yep. It's a skill called Mimic/Mime. China is just copying one of Final Fantasy's skills. You have to admit it's perhaps one of the most powerful/useful when used correctly.
It's the "correctly" part China doesn't quite do well. It'll be the day when China levels up and acquire "Master Mimic" where it can copy something 100% accurately. The world be damned if they actually improve on it. (Master Mimic+ Skill: Action copied perfectly and improved upon by 10%.)
