  You might want to take into account that Laffer himself said that his curve ONLY works in circumstances of very high taxation. It doesn’t apply to the present situation. The claim that the Laffer curve somehow applies outside a situation of extremely high taxation is just a complete fabrication. Not that I’m accusing you of any dishonesty. All I’m saying is that the idea that raising taxes in an ordinary situation would not increase revenues is pure voodoo-economics and promoted by rich people …
