because most otaku can only remember anime from the past couple of seasons

cuz these kinds of anime are either love or hate, the haters get on the hate lists and the lovers get on the love lists, that being said, all the anime on this list I've watched were amazing except madoka which only proved its worthiness of the popularity behind it to me in the climax
actually the only anime from the list that are worth watching are Madoka and Railgun.
Why Madoka is on the list is probably because the first 2 episodes could disappoint some ppl giving them a false conviction that is is childish.
Actually, the first episode said it was shit with the pan-caked shaped heads...sure enough, it became overrated shit :D

We're talking about people who'd rather watch/play eroge titles for the simplicity and the "plot".
And you probably have never actually read the plot in some eroges. Some of them have a pretty deep plot
F/SN the VN vs F/SN the anime, the VN actually blows the anime out of the water with its storytelling.
You don't just get an idiot hero, but you get to find out why he does the things he does, and more often than not, there is a certain logic to it. Which was completely lacking in the anime.

I watched like 5 or 6 eps because of the insane popularity and I can of figured that a show that has over 500 eps to date should be doing something right.
Nope I didn't see it, maybe I chose the wrong eps but I can tell you I liked bleach and naruto better
But yea the manga is way better than the anime.
There is actually some depth in the manga unlike the "targeted at kids" anime.
Most people that like One Piece just can't accept that there are people that don't like One Piece.
They always resort to petty insults or say that people haven't watched/read enough of it to form an actual opinion on it.
I don't need to watch 250 episodes or read 300 chapters of it to know I'm not interested in it. If it doesn't grab my attention in the first few episodes/chapters, I'm not going to bother spending ~100 hours on it.
I watched about 100 episodes of it, until that other chick joined the team. If 100 episodes isn't enough to decide something is crap, fuck off.
