Holographic princess Hatsune Miku’s US debut has proven a complete success, with fans attending the “Mikunopolis” concert in Los Angeles hailing her flawless appearance as the descent of an angel.
The concert itself followed an similar pattern to her previous live appearances (including the ecstatic fan response), with Vocaloids being projected onto a transparent screen on stage, but with some significantly upgraded visuals, a fact much appreciated by attendees:
With her organisers somehow having managed to mess up her last concert, the fact that this debut event came off without a hitch is sure to relieve fans and organisers alike.

Good thing the current generation of predator drones aren't all that threatening against a modern military and can be shot down quite easily.
I had a hard ass time scrounging a tiicket but it paid off.
I think we're all waiting for that (and the awesome trance/techno songs that will accompany the event).
Hopefully the drones themselves would be a high-speed tank, a fully autonomous unmanned air craft and a large moving fortress, named after the developing stages of a butterfly.
We can do without a bipedal/quadraped nuclear launcher though...
It would be so epic to be there waving one of those negi glowsticks...

Fucking shame i was on the far far right of the stage, so the only time Miku was realistically visible was when she "danced" her way to the right 1/3 of the panel.
If you want to expereience it fully you got to sit in the MIDDLE! Remember that for the future.
...despite that small drawback (there were big enough TV screens) Seeing Luka on stage made me cream my pantsu!!!!

I completely agree. I'll never forget my first Miku concert(MIKUNOPOLIS). Best weekend ever. ;)
TBH, the audiences for this concert were kinda boring, it wasn't like the one in 2010 where they were all hyped up. I guess because it's due to the fact it's in Japanese.
Anyways, I'm looking forward for Miku to dominate the World...
I'm sure anyone who had just spent the last 12 hours walking around the L.A. Convention Center would be a little tired as we were. Also, it had been a really hot day, plus a bomb threat and many drawbacks.
The crowd may not have been as animated, but it didn't make us any less excited to see her.
You know what would be more epic? If those glowsticks were shoved up all you pathetic Mikutards' ass.

Don't know the specs on the glasses, but I did notice in the original concert two years back that they where slightly bowed forward to create a slight visual illusion of 3dimensional to the close audience in that much smaller venue.

But looking at that crappy quality "amateur{my ass that was done by a casual fan!}" video, that way would be utterly lost to even the closest people in that Very Crowded theater~
