You know, 'bad' doesn't mean bad in terms of quality, but bad in terms of killing its characters off. Seriously, words have multiple meanings you know.
More on topic, I bloody knew that woman was trouble from the very start. Damn Okabe and his helpful personality, letting anyone he fancies into his lab. With all the other members, he was at least familiar with them. Moeka, if I'm not mistaken, was just a random person from the streets. Okabe did deserve it in a way.
I love the show so much, but it sucks to see characters you are so familiar getting killed, but I guess that serves to add to the emotional blow.

Its not like something really bad happend.. i mean this episode had a huge impact but it was already said in the beginning of the episode.. its just one of endless Mayuris that died. If Okarin is abel to use the time leap machine he can just switch to another mayuri. But isnt it funny? They say your world continues after you use the time machine so that means.. the time machine is useless for everyone expect okarin who can follow to the next world. Everyone else has to stay in their fucked up else since the world where things changed is a new diffrent one. Its a bit like when someone gets cloned in other moves, animes etc. You get a exact copy from befor.. but.. its not the same person you lived with till now. You never gone to the same events together and shared those moments.. i just that the clone remembers them but its still someone diffrent. Well thats my opinion.

On a semi-related note, if they made a live action adaptation of Stein;Gate I can't imagine a better actor for Okabe than Hiroshi Abe, even if he's much older. Changing the ages of the characters would be worth it.

Mayuri would have to be played by Hanakawa, and if not, they better dub it with her voice
