Reminds me of the “copseye” device from some of Larry Niven’s “Known Space” science fiction stories – used by police to “patrol” public areas rather than doing it on foot. Of course those could go for more than 8 minutes, but everything has to start somewhere….

Playing the japanese/american national anthem depending on the land your in and broadcasting prerecorded, propagandistic speeches by your current leading party. Kudos to Fallout 3

Just putting on Tank-grade armor simply is defying the idea of a drone… the amount of power you’d need to generate to lift it is impossible without the rotor the size of a helicopter…. and then you can simply take a helicopter. It’s terrible, their combat is playable by a single key press by simply setting up a keyboard macro… that’s not fun. Character customization doesn’t exist… everyone’s wearing the same gear as everyone else… …

Or they could just learn the same lesson many AAA developers need to learn. You don’t need a bloated 500 person development team or $100 million budget to make an incredible looking, great playing game. “on the platform where we have control—which is PC—we’ll release on GOG day one and DRM-free.” -CD Projekt Red When console makers require DRM, devs have no choice but to include DRM.

welp this could be seen as sign that it will take years before nextgen console start getting lots of jp games. so 3 to 4 years before start buying the next gen console
