The only reason Pokemon is more popular is because first, it came out way long ago and really caught on with the younger generation, and as more games kept getting released, that same generation grew up and kept buying while more kids get into the franchise as well. With Monster Hunter, you don’t really get into that kinda game unless you’re in your teens, then there was that whole deal about not being able to play multiplayer unless you got that PS2 internet connection thing, then they didn’t port over Monster Hunter 2 or Monster Hunter G, so yeah, in reality a lot of factors led to it not catching on as much here in America, and the time limit is not even on that list of reasons.

the comparison was of their popularity and sales not quality. If you dislike one piece yourself that doesnt mean that you will dislike another with the same amount of hype and sales. Unless you only like unpopular stuff, you hipster you.

Not everything need an in depth story or plot for the means of entertainment. I play freedom unite with my bf and close friend and we make up our own stories to make the adventure seem unique rather than generic. Like someone mentioned already, the fact that you the hunter; is charged with defending the town and the people who travel from violent monsters wishing to expand territory or are just pricks. Maybe not exactly but he point is still there. When I play monster hunter, I want to fight …

great, they waste time AND money to remake the game on a higher quality graphics instead on an english release. stupid i’d say… but i got tired and bored of the psp game anyway so it wont really make a difference. screw you capcom

Ah, another case of strange things related to wearing the same stuff for identification purposes. Don’t underestimate the incongruities involved in identifying anime characters! I mean, without those glasses, who the fuck is that chick? Some random muscle chick? We don’t know. But with glasses, AH, it’s THAT muscle chick. So yeah, even in the shower, she needs glasses so we know who she is.

Who goes under the shower while still wearing their glasses?

I got a harem in this game! And they’re doing the work for me! Yey! (P.S. Don’t judge me. I got rejected countless times by the so-called real-life women. And I’m an introvert to boot. Try surviving in my shoes.)

Well yeah, of course they are! After all, there are people who want to give fictional kids more legal rights than actual people! These fake kids should be able to live free of the predations of that fictional assailant, and you should be censored for thinking about playing it! “Justice” for the lulz.

Actually there is a fallacy built into your primary argument. Rape is only detrimental to 50% of the actors involved, while murder and/or killing detrimentally affects 100% of the actors involved. Yes, even the killers are negatively affected by their actions. Furthermore, even the earliest recorded laws recognized murder as a crime while rape was not. Therefore, since you’re talking about a ‘forgivable offense’, rape clearly was not considered unforgivable.
