I like Kuroneko too but this story is ORE NO IMOUTO. Imouto dammit. It should be about Kirino.

It would be wiser to have her stick around or at least turn up now and then...versus total removal.

All the same, it should be interesting to see how it all ends. I should hope a conclusion is reached. I'd sooner take 'adopted' route over 'no end' (harem end isn't on the table). Frankly, I'd rather see an incest route somehow succeed. I've yet to see this work.

From what I recall, there was no love confession to Ruri anyway. Rather, only Ayase gets those sorts of reactions, and she just looks like Kirino without makeup.

Though I don't know that it was necessary to remove the character, it all works back to the same end. It's now just a question of what 'end' that is exactly (adopted, incest, inconclusive, etc.).

Frankly, I was half expecting Kuroneko to suck up the defeat and even help Kirino. Though, in the game, she certainly did have an interesting way of supporting Ayase route (written by the author if I'm not mistaken)...I'd not expected it from her.

I understand wanting to break off and go in a different direction, but writing the character out of the main story is not the way to do it.

So unless Saori or one of the other female characters steps up to either keep kirino off her high horse or to be another possible love interest. This series is going to crash and burn when the Kuroneko one starts.

This will be the end of kuroneko chan, jsut wait and see...
