About the only big cut that I can think of that he made was Tom Bombadil, and that’s because he didn’t know how he could make him work with the rest of the movies, and that’s a reasonable enough argument for a cut.

I don’t think The Last Airbender flopped because it had a white cast. Anime in general doesn’t feature Japanese-looking characters, and The Last Airbender wasn’t a particularly Asian story as much as it was a universal one. There are a slew of great titles released only on consoles. Being able to emulate is indeed a perk for PC, but even still. Many more modern console emulators are unable to emulate many games to the fullest. Also, PC emulation can be a chore at times, as many programs are not always user friendly. Consoles are user friendly, and as such, have not died out yet.

The counter argument is a console without any gimmick (social crap, TV, etc) will lose it uniqueness, and will lack of drive to consumer, especially PC gamer to grab one to try the “new experience”. I read this comment that said: Xbox One is similar to PC, so why get a non-upgradeable PC(Xbox One) instead of a real PC.. I do have solution, though by putting many exclusive game in console, it will put them back in track to compete with PC.
