@alidan

Or make it three movies, like Peter Jackson did with LotR.

About the only big cut that I can think of that he made was Tom Bombadil, and that’s because he didn’t know how he could make him work with the rest of the movies, and that’s a reasonable enough argument for a cut.

    I don’t think The Last Airbender flopped because it had a white cast. Anime in general doesn’t feature Japanese-looking characters, and The Last Airbender wasn’t a particularly Asian story as much as it was a universal one. If I had to pick a reason it flopped, it would be because in so many ways it missed the point of the “anime” (or American cartoon in the style of anime, if you prefer). The Fire Nation was played by Indian actors, all of whom overacted their parts and came off as …

    I hated that George took away a straight role from a straight person. They should have cast Sulu better and gotten someone that didn’t predominately suck cock. George should only be allowed to play gay roles. See what I did there… Idiots…

    “Another example would be Jesus, that somehow is portrayed as a snow white caucasian man, even though he was a jew and likely quite brown if he would have existed.” Yeah, apparently you know very little about historical sources.

    The one you mistakenly identify as Hatano Yui is actually Tomoda Ayaka. Hatachan was nowhere to be found in the Ryu Ga Gotoku contest (she’d have ranked high for sure, she’s won this year’s Sky Perfect! award). Her agency must be banned or something.

    Final Fantasy died long ago, together with the amazing Squaresoft -_- IMO… FFX was too linear, but has a great story; FFX-2 only had a great battle/class system + some good jazzy music; FFXII had an “open world” and some great music + I liked the license board, but weak story+characters+gambits not customizable enough; FFXIII… I liked… I don’t remember anything, sorry… sequels? never got them because meh the same shit including pokemon or boring Lightning… FFXIV? online shits… FFXV? …

    Honestly, this easily looks to be one of the best Final Fantasy games to have ever come out. Especially after the series of pieces of shits known as Final Fantasy 13. But seriously tho, despite the boy band (as many have called it) this is basically the first and only final fantasy game I’ve ever actually looked forward to. Besides Dissidia.
