Madoka Figures None Too Promising?

Magical puella fans are lamenting the fact that Ume Aoki’s distinctive character designs are looking all but impossible to render into figures effectively – the first such figure to arrive, a bikini-clad Madoka, is looking distinctly awkward.
Beach queen Madoka herself is available for pre-orders now.
Fans are none too confident about the prospects for future figures – although another Aoki-design based figure shows that all is not lost:

It is simple. WAVE figures suck and always have. A better company will release a better figure. Stay away from anything made by WAVE.
If you think WAVE do horrendous job on their sculpt, you better stay away from TAKI; they made the worst figures and sell them for around $50 and above. You know they're just terrible judging from the fact that no matter how cheap HLJ put them on clearance, customers still won't consider buying them.
To say the lest, it is distasteful to keep the name "WAVE" after such a tsunami in Japan ^_^;

Its not the figures head that's wrong for all the morons saying its not wide enough. Its the fact that (because its is a swappable Beach Queen) it looks like the head was plopped on their makoto version.
It looks awkward because she's too happy.

Nah, I think the bikini Madoka figure is still cute... oh wait. The body seems to be a bit too tall. Anyway, I love the pink frail bikini.

The face and head looks fine but it looks like they put it on someone else's body. The body is way too old and tall.
She doesn't seem too bad, just that she's not really suited for a bikini. Wave should ease up on their bikini line. They all seem a little too alike.
We need Alter or goodsmile to tackle a figure of her ^^
I'll wait a little longer. There are gonna be dozens of Madoka figures coming out over the next year. Just gotta wait for a good sculpt and a good manufacturer.
Seems to be a budget figure... It's not expensive enough to be of great quality. Besides, no one cares about this small time; we're all waiting for Alter to come out with a set.

The anime series began airing in Japan on TBS and MBS from January 6, 2011. Due to the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami, the final two episodes were delayed until April 21, 2011

This is dumb. It's like saying that a figure of a tentacle monster looks gross because it's a tentacle monster. The character designs are grotesque to begin with. If the character has a huge dumb looking rectangle for a head, so would the figure.

It looks like the anime designs. It's just that by putting them into 3D, it highlights how dough-faced and amateurish the anime designs look.
Oh wow I'm surprised they ever made Hidamari figures, I've never seen one. Please tell me there's more to that series!
