Continuing the trend for anime with inconveniently long names, Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae o Boku-tachi wa Mada Shiranai (“We Still Don’t Know the Name of the Flower We Saw That Day”) has aired to a very positive reception.
Although the first episode was found quite entertaining by most, those familiar with the original caution the story becomes quite depressing as it develops…
The relatively sombre direction the anime is likely to take is rather offset by the fact that Naruko Anjo’s name is continuously abbreviated to “Anaru” (“Anal”)…

Misleading title is misleading.
What I Saw: This article title
What I Expected: To be let down
What I Did Anyway: Came running
Misleading is some what interesting.
+1 sometimes i think this site could be better with less misleading titles
but it's what makes sankaku . . . sankaku, misleading titles disappoint me 80% of the time, but the 20% is always good ^_^

The most misleading titles are the ones with the word 'nipple'. If you're a guy, I suggest you think first before clicking the title. Otherwise, you're gonna get some unpleasant views of male/trap nipples. And most of those posts are written by the trap-lover Leon.
More interesting if you don't know what gonna happen before you click the titles

What I want to know is if it's one those steady flashback animes, I don't really like those, as well as those over depressing stories.
I already have enough in my life to be depress about.
I'm with you there. There's enough bad stuff going on in my life (and in the world) that I tend to focus on positive comedy shows nowadays. I was curious about this one, but if it gets as depressing as the post implies I might need to pass on it, at least until things look up a bit more.
If you can't handle external sources of depression, such as in an entertainment source, because your life is "so depressing" you should probably see a therapist. Just saying.
Also, try looking at external depressants as a positive thing. At least they're not happening to you! It could be a lot worse. Cheer up! ^_^
You could also go a step further and take pleasure in the pain of others. Schaudenfreude! Huzzah!

According to MAL and ANN, this is an anime original story... so I dunno what Artefact is talking about
Not sure about where the prognostications come from but there is a novel, serialised in "Da Vinci" magazine - although it appears to be the novel of the anime or some such.
