Ok, Let's say Aya is being blackmailed by an higher up of her agency for sexual favors, which she refuses. Her old agent is discarded, she got put on the bench like that until her contract ends or she abide and now she acts like an idiot so she can be fired?

Come now, she's not a bad seiyuu at all. I like her voice tone you know. I don't fawn over the actual person, just as long as I like what they do with their roles/jobs.

that having been said, just because she voiced a monstrously popular character people acted like she's the best seiyuu, singer, etc etc in the industry.
she's always been an overrated seiyuu in general, so this just brings her ratings back down to reality.
frankly though i wouldn't be surprised if she really is actually just not getting the job offers.

she's not THE hot seiyuu commodity anymore.
1) the Haruhi train has run its course. it's not unpopular but it won't guarantee her roles anymore, and KyoAni knows it has a much bigger cash cow in K-on now.
2) there were better seiyuu than her to hire even during the height of Aya's career, so there were always options.
3) frankly since her agency troubles, there have been a couple "new" (they may have actually been around already but not in big main roles) seiyuu who are better than Aya ever was and whose careers have skyrocketed appropriately (see all the K-on seiyuu).
and if you believe rumors, Aya is notoriously a snobby brat to work with; whereas some of the newer seiyuu who've risen since Aya's agency troubles have been getting rave reviews from casting directors.

Now if only they would fire Hirano from playing Haruhi and replace her with Harumi Sakurai.

All this Aya hate is getting on my nerves. The only reason you guys "hate" her so much is because of all these articles on sancom. I personally think Artefact holds some sort of grudge against her, but whatever.
The fact is, most of you people are hating based solely on these articles, and it sickens me to see people put her down constantly. If you don't like her, fine. Just don't wish ill upon her because frankly, she doesn't deserve it.
Also, she's a decent seiyuu, so I think its a shame she can't get any new roles.
