I remember during Operation Desert Storm, Kuwait requested military aid to oust Iraqi invaders from their country. Then when our soldiers arrived they made our troops remove the American flags from their uniforms because it offended them. Instead of telling them to take a hike, we complied.

Even the name 'tomodachi', was chosen by the Japanese. And refueling is a part of the operation. If the japanese newspapers weren't focusing that much on what happens every second at the Fukushima plant, I suppose that this operation would be on all the covers. Because I had to come here, to hear about it!

EXACTLY. China, India, Paskistan, Rusia all those countries are on the rise, a new world is awakening and USA needs to do something before it's too late to stop the tide. A blow to Japan is a direct hit to china's economy, EVERY SINGLE piece of crap made in japan is assembled in china. Also the nor-corean crisis desapeared from the media but no for the US goverment, japan is now ready to become a huge USArmy Base, with the excuse that Japan doesn't have any army to help their own people.
