Slavery, head hunting, racism, poverty and all that stuff have actual victims: the slaves, those killed, the minorities, the poor, etc. People suffer because of those things.

Gaming, watching anime, reading manga, etc. harms no one. Nobody is hurt during their creation, and people aren’t forced to play watch/read if they don’t want to.

Arguing that they must be banned because young people can’t separate fiction from reality and will therefore be turned into criminals is just stupid. It is those old politicians who seem to have problems separating fiction from reality. They just fear modern media because it’s new and they are unable to adapt to those things we have now. That’s why they say nothing about old shit like, say, water guns. The whole point of a water gun is to “shoot” your friends and unlike GTA they are made specifically for children! Maybe they should ban them for “lowering inhibitions to killing and ultimately stimulating people to murder.”

  Or better yet, have the first gen PS3 which can play PS1, PS2 and PS3 games, so you’ll only need 2 consoles lol. I’m more worried about the system itself and the increasing development cost, processes and expectations to make good games. I truly hope it won’t decrease anymore. The PS3 so far is over 3000 games behind the PS2, how insane is that, PS3 is at a whopping total of about 770 games.

  That’s why I stopped buying Sony consoles/handhelds: they release too many revised consoles! The PS1 had like 2 different models and some minor altered versions, the PS2 was similar (big models with some smaller changes, and the Slim)… PS3 also had the big original and Slim, but there were many revised versions with important changes concerning the hardware.
