Do you like doo doo? Because that’s what’s coming out of your mouth right now. I suppose SE should hire your monkey ass because you apparently seem to know how to run the business better than them.

I don’t know about screwing up Final Fantasy right off the bat… FF12 I thought would be an excellent game, but it seemed like they changed writing staff during production – the game map was clearly meant for an open-ended game with a clear start and finish but no clear way of getting there, but they fitted it with a complete failure of a storyline. 13 was so bad I couldn’t play past the first few hours. It’s like they were going to do well, then ditched the good plan for a hackneyed joke. On …

First off, yeah it was coming, we all saw it coming from the day it was released, but that aside, i believe square’s increasing reliance on visuals and acceptance by foreign markets has made it unable to compete with even the most basic of rpgs these days. what made ff7/8/9/10 so popular? sidequests, big maps, customization, and even comedy factors in there. 13/14 have none of that, you’re forced to walk the same path everyone else that ever played the game has to walk, with no unique …

FF7 was a classic at the time, because it worked that way back then. If it never came out all those years ago and was released now, it would be considered generic and cliche. Hence why Advent Children didn’t do so well, the fanbase grew up and it wasn’t the same and the film couldn’t possibly appeal to a new or younger audience.

@2245 – dude, thankfully you’re a little easier and less fanatical to talk with about this than Taylor is. But really, you and Taylor.. I don’t know what you guys have been through but it’s just not right that you guys are applying your own experiences to the rest of the world. It’s just messed up to tell the rest of the world to adapt your experiences as their own and give up on a living idea for their fantasies. If I listened to guys like you guys a few months ago I’d have never met the girl …

are you actually egging people on to become criminals overseas?

  • Final Fantasy XIV “Marred By Total WTF UI”:
Well it seems they can still bring out two sequels to the 13 franchise and redo 14, so can’t be as bad as you think.

I see you’re still incapable of rebuttal. Tell me how “2d girls” is not masturbation without resorting to petty ad hominem.
