There's exceptional ones and exceptionally bad ones almost anywhere you look. But the bad/exploitative ones are pandemic in many Asian press.

They tend to think that their job is full excuse to be exploitative and voyeuristic in their practices. What worse, the typical pixelization/blur effect and the avoidance of shooting peoples' faces directly seems to be the excuse for them to be fearlessly and unrelentingly brutal with questions otherwise.

Also, Japanese press and media seems to be caught up in the way many variety shows do a lot of 'shocking exposé' style of interviews. Honestly, that kind of 'openness' as they call it sickens me in variety shows, no less in real life media.

At that time FEMA never came and it was 5 days in or so and they didnt even bother to help people. I know they couldnt help everyone one but having the only food in the area makes you a big target to people starving to death, litteraly.
