  The problem with adding a second control is that it will be alienating every single current 3DS owner. Nintendo would essentially be forcing them to either buy a control stick add-on or buy a new 3DS with two built in control sticks. The last thing they should be doing is another “Fuck you!” to people who already bought a 3DS.
