ugh people and their weird fetishes, personally crooked teeth pisses me off...
There ARE orthodontists and all but I just guess teeth care isn't the biggest rage over there. Thank god I was one of the ones with parents who really cared about orthodontic care. I guess one element is that the stuff westerners typically see as an essential teeth health issue in having braces and getting orthodontic care, it actually isn't covered by the Japanese health care law. It only goes up to stuff like getting cavities fixed.
If you havn't realized this Asians don't believe in ortodontists or are either too cheap or don't care, you can actually see some known celebrities in those areas with jagged/crooked teeth....
