Not a big fan for anything thats closely related to mecha and stuff, but Star Driver does not have that feel and it is a pretty good show.

star driver gets worse with every new chapter(?)
Star Driver is probably one of the best Shounen Anime i've ever seen... As expected from Bones who made Eureka 7... however, Star Driver far exceeds of that Eureka 7 in terms of every aspect imo.
Wow the comments for this post astound me. How the hell can Star Driver be called "cliched" and "same old, same old" when its combing mahou shoujo, romantic comedy, slice-of-life, mecha, AND shonen tropes into a single anime!?! You cannot pin down Star Driver into one genre. Just like Haruhi.
Seriously, actually watch it before you judge, because this was the best beach episodes I've ever seen. It was hilarious, plus the plot actually move forward in this episode! (Only half of it was a "beach episode" if you really want to get technical) Star Driver plays anime tropes straight, lampshade them, subvert them, deconstruct them, AND averts them to make for an extremely entertaining experience. Nothing else is like it out there. (The closest is Revolutionary Girl Utena, which is also awesome and both share the same writer)
Sorry, even those nipples made of stainless steel won't make me watch this show.
This season is rather mediocre, but Star Driver tops even those anime in how bad an anime can be.
nah, star driver is good. it feels nostalgic and at the same time fresh. bad anime are like seikon no qwaser, kampfer and queen's blade. these tried two hard to please people with ecchi
