    Unless it shitted you into sleeping through 2/3 of the episodes, you might have seen that most of the attacks were carried out by the villagers during daytime, when the vampires were all asleep and vulnerable. They kind of stuck together at night, so there were very little chance for the vampires to attack them then.

    And no they don't get any quicker or more agile or more manipulative when they become a vampire. The manipulation only works if they had bitten the victims.

    And also, I don't think Tatsumi got shot in the head.

    Yea and only shot Yoshiee in the head which she died MEANWHILE MR TATSUMI GOT ABOUT 10 bullets in the heart ,head and lived.

    Really this author is just plothaxing over the place. Really vampires were shown to quick agile and manipulative yet they die in 2 episodes full of bullshit.

    What were the charmed humans their for to say HI to everyone rather than to protect and defend them with say guns and weaponry.....

    The Best of this year on Non-moe character based anime to me are:

    Katanagatari (although Togame somtimes is Moe)

    The Legend of Legendary Heroes (Ferris is HOT!)

    Gundam Unicorn (Only two ovas...-___-)

    Angel Beats (The Plot, characters and comedy are good..)

    One hell of good horror show when you want to taste some of it. It way better than the half ass "Twilight". The plot is good too, not so straightforward and the action is perfect for horror genre. In my opinion, they could have made the show bloodier but that's business.

    This final episode didn't make me cringe or anything like that. It made my cry more I think or at least tear up quite a bit. It's gruesome but heck so is life and this anime wanted to portray that aspect of it. Great anime and one of the best of this year for sure.

    It's the shiki who deserve their fate. If they are going to drink medical blood, than they can have the right to have a happy ending. It's the result of a predator was chased by it own preys. I laugh on their suffering and this look really like Medieval Age when people burn the witch on the Cross.

    I love whenever there's vampires in any setting and one of their quirks is that they're technically dead and don't have a pulse. That means the males cant get erections. What a great way to spend eternity. Yup.

    And if Shiki don't have a pulse in the first place, why does destroying their heart hurt them? Wouldn't you have to kill the brain...which I know the doctor said works too, but yea. Maybe something important was lost in translation or I'm retarded and don't remember/missed something.

    hmmm I watched all of shiki yesterday in one day... through watchin it I realized .... maybe confirmed I am on sick bastard xD... Man I was laughing my ass off ecspecially in episode 14 when he was dissectin' is wifey. xD and boy leading up to every murder I was giggling like a school girl in anticipation.

    though that does surprise me that there are two more eps.

    hmmmm I kind hope in those two eps that Sunako and Seishin don't die because that would suck <_< no more shiki.......

    I am curious about two things is tatsumi really dead and how the fuck would that one chick who is a Jinrou be dead by getting shot by Kirishiki Shoujirou when tatsumi got hurt a lot worse and even shot in vitals <_< plus the chick also consumed quite a bit of human blood

    it's just an anime, deal with it!

    shiki is one of the animes which has many but tiny illogical parts that just doesn't make sense. i also could tell you many failures that i have seen during watching the whole series, but screw those failures! i just enjoyed watching it :)
