A second season of top breast sucking fetish anime Seikon no Qwaser has been announced, in spite of the gibbering objections of Ishihara and his PTA cohorts.
The announcement is sparing in detail, but confirms that the anime will be a full TV season and that the cast (including Aya Hirano) will reprise their roles.

As the recent ban (which would probably make Qwaser unbroadcastable in Tokyo, the only location it was ever really broadcast in the first place) only comes into effect in July, it seems likely the anime will start and finish before then – although on many stations the anime was massacred to such an extent that it might actually have passed muster anyway.
If governor Ishihara saw this anime, he would turn over in his grave! (Yeah, I know he's still alive).
Can you add the fact that he might pull out all of his hair(pubic, armpit, nasal hairs included) in frustration and disbelief that somebody is still going at it despite what he spearheaded?^^
"Yeah, I know he's still alive"
Not for long i hope. Come on yakuza or old age take this guy out.
Feels like this is some sort of an act of defiance against the new law, even with the heavy censoring it may come with...
Civil disobedience, anime style...
Btw Artefact, forgot to ask you this one in the last topic but will the AT-X broadcasts be affected aswell with the ban?
Disobedience with anime is good :P
This whole series will be a giant middle finger to Ishihara... I like it.
FUCK the son of a bitch Ishihara! Like John Hayabusa said, Koizumi Itsuki should go after him and assrape the shit out of that old fart!
Even though I'm not really into shows like this, I will watch it because it goes against the extremely vague ( well I guess a lot of this oppose it) ban thingy. It's like ero will be the new cool thing, whenever my parents tell me to do my Homework I'll tell them " Screw you I'm watching a girl's nipples licked by kittens".
I'm no Artefact, but I could tell you the terms of the ban are still rather open to interpretation. (For the lack of an example, which they will undoubtetly make before long.)
If politics has it's wily way then yes, it will.
Question here is if the manga and anime industry can proceed with business as usual until a court decides on these issues...
If they have to wait until it meanders its way up to the supreme court then the industry will be badly affected.
looks like it's now or never...
The last bastion of humanity displayed in its full glory
Oh hell yeah!
I loved this anime, happy there will be another season.
Hoping to see more of Lizzy and Katja <3
Ishihara needs to have some wild sex with his wife. Urgently. Him and his fellow idiots. Frustrated ppl tend to discharge their misery onto things that are good for others.
Never would have been okay with me....god; that shit is borderline...
What ever happened to the ban? or is this to educational for the ban?
Yes, this series is too educational for the ban, it teaches the health benefits of breastfeeding...
I watch it so see more Katja cunnilingus!
Great show ain't it? Something for everyone no matter what their needs are lol
I watch it for the soundtrack.
Fuck yeah! Glad this series's gonna continue! FUCK THE MOTHERFUCKING BAN!
I wanna see Hana giving her loli mistress Katja some more pussy licking!
I watch it for the boob sucking. :3
I watch it for the plot
wrong, its all about the character development
didnt like the show
it was crap
but still watched it for some lol moments
I watch it because I'm actually Orthodox (-_-;)
"As the recent ban (which would probably make Qwaser unbroadcastable in Tokyo, the only location it was ever really broadcast in the first place) only comes into effect in July, it seems likely the anime will start and finish before then..."
They can just steam-ray-shadow out all the "depictions" of "illegal sexual acts" involving "apparent minors" like they did previously anyway for standard television (so that they aren't actually "depicted" anymore), and AT-X being a premium channel shouldn't fall under the new bill, right? I somehow get the impression it'll be business as usual even with the ban. At least until there are no new manga to adopt into TV anime anymore...
@DiamondDust
iShitHara sounds like an Apple product- maybe this is Steve Jobs' revenge against Japan for being stopped at the airport with his Ninja stars?
Kratos is angry...
The ban certainly won't stop series like Seikon no Qwaser from continuing. Ishihara and DPJ suck! Anime and manga FTW!
I wonder how long the ban will hold, history teach us that bans don't tend to last long.
The industry can pretend it abides the law while making tons more anime with all the good content reserved for DVDs, which works good for titles like Seikon, with all those great extras.
And they're doing it already so I think only the major events are the victims in the end.
@Megidola You got that right! I wish I was Kratos so that I can beat the dogshit out of I-SHIT-HARA and bash his fugly, oldass face with my fists until the "screen" is covered with blood!
Btw, if you see this "Lamberto" coming here again, don't believe him. He's an imposter and I'm the REAL one!
Yo guys! Instead of calling the motherfucking Tokyo governor Ishihara, why don't we just call him "I-SHIT-HARA"? The old guy is obviously a human piece of shit! FUCK I-SHIT-HARA!
Can anyone read? The Tokyo Youth Ordinance was not a ban, it's just increased regulation by Tokyo's Metropolitan Government- not saying it's a good thing.
Anime and Manga won't stop, and no one knows how it will really effect things. But the fight will continue.
Meh, they could ban it all they want. There's always going to be some way to bypass it. Hmmmm, the internet seems to be a pretty good place right now >.>
@The Real Lamberto Welcome to Sankaku Complex. I believe that you're the REAL Lamberto. You're a better Lamberto than the "one" we have here on SanCom. That imposter is a pain in the neck! Enjoy your stay here.
Btw, that 10:43 17/12/2010 post you made: pure gold, my friend!
There no stopping him now iShitHara is doomed.
Okay, look at the comment I made before. 00:12 16/12/2010 "I still don't think they are going to ban it completely, if everyone decide not to follow it, the law doesn't really have any effect."
I KNEW IT! Somebody will go against the law and that fucking Ishihara!
Good evening, Sankaku. Allow me first to apologize for this interruption. I do, like many of you, appreciate the comforts of fapping as the everyday norm, in the security of my room, and the tranquility of climax. I enjoy them as much as any. But in the spirit of commemoration - whereby those important events of the past, usually associated with someone's death or the end of some awful blood struggle, are celebrated with a nice holiday - I thought we could mark this December the fifteenth, a day that will sadly not be remembered, by taking some time out of our daily browsing to sit down and have a little chat.
There are, of course, those parties that do not want us to speak. I suspect even now orders are being shouted into twitters and men without guns nor swords will soon be on their way to Taki corporation. Why? Because whilst the truncheon may be used in lieu of conversation, actions and screen time will always retain their power. Actions, beyond words offer meaning to our hopes, our dreams, and for those who would act, our raison d'etre. But in order for action to be required, there must be something wrong. And there is something wrong, isn't there?
Censorship and facism...intolerance and oppression. And where we once had the freedom to object, to watch and fap as we saw fit, we now have censors and black bars coercing the people to conformity and submission. How did this happen and who's to blame? Well certainly there are those who are more responsible than others, but of course they will not be held accountable. But again, truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look at the producers who refuse to act. I know why they didn't do a thing. They were afraid. Who wouldn't be? Being shut down. Bad publicity. Jail-time, even. There were a myriad of reasons which conspired together to take away their backbone. Fear got the best of them and in their panic, the people of Japan turned to the now governor Shintaro Ishihara. He said he would bring safety to your children. And all he demanded in return was that the publishers do nothing.
On the fifteenth, oh the fifteenth of December, Taki corporation sought to end this decrepit lethargy. On the fifteenth, Taki corporation announced the second season of Seikon no Quasar. Search your histories. There has always been revolutionaries, and they have always hanged for their actions. And yet, those actions reverberated throughout history and changed the course of it. Their hopes and actions shall become our perspectives. So if you've seen nothing, if the crimes of this government remain unknown to you, then I would suggest that you allow the fifteenth of December to pass unmarked. But if you see what I see, if you feel as I feel, and if you would seek as I seek....then I ask you to stand beside Taki corporation, throughout the year, till the fifteenth of December. Let us give Ishihara this fifteenth of December, and let it never, ever be forgot!
Who would have thought V liked anime.
Epic reference is epic. This has got to be the most entertaining wall of text I've ever read on here.
I hope Ishithara gets assraped for his goddamn troubles!
Fixed
BTW: Remember Remember the fifteen of December...
I hope Ishihara gets assraped for his goddamn troubles!
Manly tears have been shed.
Shouldn't it be Eat-Shit-Hara?
@Anon 20:26 That's an epic win post, my friend.
hmm, so the one show that almost justified the whole moral crusade gets an add-on
i dont know what to think...
"in yo face ishihara"?
"needs moar ban"?
anime industry, you might have your last chance to fuck around, but why not prove that your shows are more than tits n ass?
I have to say, it would be amusing if Qwaser would trigger Ishiharas downfall. I'm quite certain, that guys not fit to "suck it up".
Those are some lucky kittens.
