Not really. Different art, different style, different gameplay, different engine, different story. The only thing I find similar is the music, which is composed by Daisuke Ishiwatari.

it has to do with the otakus.japanese companies know that otakus will pay top dollars for them so they charge that much
if you know how hard is to build 1 pvc figure, you'll understand why its so expensive.
Well, it is a cliche reason but the makers need money since their production capability is limited - but they balanced it with good detail and quality so...well...the price is justified (at least for me)

Fine. Buy gashapon, trading, or prize figures for much less and see how "good" they look.
This is well worth that price for the level of craftsmanship here.
