The 10th episode of To Aru Majutsu no Index II ratchets up the service quotient substantially higher than the previous episode, with scantily clad maidens and strangely immodest nuns galore.
Oriana, the blonde sorceress who renders is the primary provider this episode, but a short glimpse of the lovely Seiri is offered at the beginning:
Luckily, her oppai were left undamaged from last episode’s injuries.
Poor Frog-Doctor is apparently the only resident doctor at this hospital – the poor man…
This shot here shows off Stiyl’s devil-worshipping paraphernalia.
Oriana’s penchant for biting yields much mouth fetish material:
“Should I take it off? Even my underwear’s soaked…”
There is even more shitapai action later on, making the above shot look fairly tame in comparison.
Touma’s infamous speech-making habit gets quite a decent workout this scene, but Oriana is about as impressed as anyone else Touma has ever fought.
Touma’s woman-beating doesn’t compare too well against Accelerator’s much more accomplished brutal mastery of the art, but the minor blow does set up some nice shots of Oriana:
Oriana is moaning about her buttons having been ripped off here – her seiyuu, 柚木涼香 / Ryouka Suzuki, does a good job of making most of Oriana’s speech sound like pick-up lines.
“Thank you for ues!!”
Yet more service in the form of this nice Index scene, with the poor girl blissfully unaware of the “camera’s” viewpoint:
Index hopping about after Touma is quite cute:
“Touma…You’re thinking of something obscene right now, aren’t you?”
Note Sphinx is also furious!
Mikoto’s busty mother, Misuzu, comes back for a good while in a pair of scenes, too.
Poor Mikoto is as ever set up by a parent’s presence for more moe blushing from here on out.
Touya Kamijou takes in the lush sights of Academy City:
This restaurant scene is a lot of fun, even with the animation quality of some of the characters frequently lapsing into that of the ED’s.
A sign of just how “chapter-ized” the whole of Index’s story is; Index and Mikoto are virtual strangers even this far into the novel’s storyline – this is actually just the second time the two have any real face-to-face conversation.
This sort of mixing of the two “magic and science” halves of the cast makes for some great lines concerning Touma and his relationship with the two primary members of his harem:
Touya actually mentions seeing Index and Touma last during the beach vacation in season one.
More yelling, as the girls make funny faces at each other.
Most viewers would probably agree that this material was wonderful, and a bit more focus on Touma and the two main girls might make for a nice change from the series’ sometimes overly large cast of rotating characters.

I didn't like this episode very much. They left out way too many important information. During that fight with Orianna, they were actually supposed to explain her powers. The fight was also more intricate in the novel.
I don't know, JC Staff is really cutting out too much stuff that's important and they spend too much time on unnecessary things.
I like Misaka, for example, but she has her own spin-off show and doesn't need all that extra spotlight. Also, i'm quite certain that Index's role in this arc was even smaller in the novel. Which is, whenever she appears now, she's just serving as the "little annoyance". Which is sad.
Animation was also sub-par mostly. Generally, this whole season comes off rather cheap. It doesn't really compare to the degree of quality we had for the last season.

I seriously wonder why people are getting so riled up seeing women/girls getting punched. Most of the time, these are the same people who are appealing for gender equality.
This is the cruel nature of gender equality. In a fight, if you are evil, you get punched regardless of gender. Saying that girls should not be punched would be implying that women are weaker then men, thus admitting gender inequality.
But of course, it's not right when some one, male or female, gets punched if they do not deserve it.
But, that out of the way, I am simply loving the Mikoto and Index interaction. I didn't really realize this, but this would be one of the few times (first times?) that we see the two main female protagonists interacting with each other.
I can't wait to see Misaka getting involved in the Magical world. Because up till this point, there really hasn't been much collision between the two worlds. The only common denominator here is Touma.
Glad to see you felt the same way as I did about the final scene - I wrote even more on it originally, but decided to pare it down some for readability's sake. ^^

It never will happen, the last season the magician of the golem, Sherry, mentioned that she used to have a esper friend, but got killed by hunting organizations when her friend got involved with the magic side.

It's been too long can't remember the details, but wasn't that they all had their bodies swopped, and Touma's mom ended up in Index's body so techically they didn't really met her...? Or did his parents met Index in the form of "what-his-name"...the blue hair guy? And even if they met her, do they know she's living with him? Sorry, I really can't remember...
