Not only it’s one sided, but hentai is hentai. It’s porn, not some minor fan service flicks you see in tv. Meaning only people who wants to see it will go seek it. It’s not like you’ll see them in national tv or something.. In other words it’s not openly broadcasted. If porn is allowed then why not this?

Maybe it’s because of this prejudiced view towards otakus(after all, are often unwanted in a society such as theirs). It’d be interesting to see if the ban actually includes real people porn. See how many will outrage that.
