No that’s what I thought too. As soon as this episode began I thought “What the..? Paranoia Agent?” After all, this entire series seems to play homage to many thing from American TV. Paranoia Agent was one thing that played on Adult Swim late nights and seemed to be pretty popular. So I connected it like that as well.
