When people buy a franchise game like FF they expects the game to be similar to the previous FF game they bought. People don’t like it when you throw them for a loop, and give them something completely different.

Personally, I believe all great things must come to an end. Too bad the FF series just didn’t stop at FFX (which, IMHO, would’ve been a good place to end it). But now, they went and homo is up with an online game that’s damn near impossible to solo (which some of players prefer!)
