  It’s not even an attempt to justify it, it’s just pathetic. Pirates have a lot of excuses, like ‘I pirate to try it out, if I like it then I buy it’ or ‘they shouldn’t charge so much for a game so I pirate it’, etc. All lies. Look at World of Goo. No copy protection, I believe it was reasonably priced, and still they estimate only 10-20% of the players actually paid for their copies.
