A ranking of the top 10 cosplay outfits of 2010 (limited to titles with 2010 releases) has been attracting some attention for its less than eclectic focus on female school uniforms, headed up by a certain series…

I'm surprised Kampfer is on that list. That series is a mess both design and story-wise, even by Japanese fan-service series standards.

I didn't notice Manaka had a ponytail before! I'll have to change my favorite LovePlus girl from Nene to Manaka.
Over time and depending on affection levels, players can encourage their gf to change their hairstyle. There's around 5 hairstyles for each of the 3 length categories (short, semi-long, long) for each girl!
The only way to differentiate them in images are their facial expressions (manaka has big round eyes), face features (nene has a mole) and their height (rinko = loli = yummy)... oh yea, their breast size too. Yup.
No Yoshika school uniform...I'm disappointed T_T

I remember that Kuroko cosplay from earlier this year, that really was impressive. I'm not shocked that she is being called cosplay of the year.
The first cosplay on this page looks nice, all the 10 tops are meh imho.

Out of all ten cosplayers, Sexhair Kaoru has the most resemblance, the hair needs to be a little more messy though.

A Top 10 list I can almost completely agree with. Cute uniforms are cute.
Most girls in the uniforms need to be exchanged, though. Oh, and there should be some maid outfits.

Why the Yuki cosplayer is even there I have no idea. You can buy the outfit from literally hundreds of places and is it so hard to keep a straight fucking face or not slouch for ten seconds while on camera?
