This anime owes quite a lot to Inazuma's artwork. He has proven many times that he possesses the skill to draw... convincing female anatomy in his other works.
By anatomy in the anime world: "If it jiggles, it wins?"

"meat buns" are handy,whether they fit in the palm of your hand precisely or seem to feel like gripping a basketball they can serve many functions such as pillows,stuff animals,emergency rations,defensive weapons,etc...
Both #1 and #2 spot are occupied by sword wielding females with meat buns that may not fit in your delicate hands. I guess nobody loves Takashi the pimp....

Different tastes I guess. I for one, watch HOTD for it's art. The drawing style is pretty different and good compared to other anime on the same season.
Meh. I think that the drawing style is really generic.
It would have been better if the style was more realistic like Gantz or Death Note since this is a horror manga. . .
But in the other hand the fan service kills all the horror and drama scenes and made them laughable.
Well the writing was pretty bad too.
I can remember that scene in the School's rooftop, they stopped the zombies with a SIMPLE DOOR and they were only in the rooftop for a couple of minutes and they already were talking about saving the water so they could stay in the rooftop for days or something. . .with zombies behind a simple door. . .
God! Its just really painful when a story tries to be smart and fails this miserably!

HAY GUISE let's introduce a basic story, main character, potentially interesting cat girl alien, concept of 2 different aliens possibly going to war with each other, and story in the first few episodes, then completely ignore it all for a generic love drama with 2 side characters that weren't even the main characters to begin with! And remember, PLEASE don't give anyone else in this show a personality or backstory, EXCEPT those two characters.

Otaku truly are the skum of the universe. Highschool of the Dead has no characterization. The females aren't characters: they are walking fan service. Grotesquely enormous jubbling tits and panty flashes does not make a character. What makes a character is the personality. This show is terrible in every possible way a show can be terrible. The fact that it even found an audience sums up why anime these days is so atrocious.
I agree. I enjoyed Seikon no Quaser (at least for the Sasha/Mafuyu) but I hated the episodes I saw of this show because the characters are nothing. They have no endearing qualities. It's like looking at stock photos of naked women. Why not just watch hentai? At least you get something for your trouble.
I totally disagree, if you read the manga you will see that the characters are really deep especially the last chapters where they have emotional breakthroughs
agreed. sufficient characterization is alotted to the 5 main characters (not including the hilariously big boobed nurse or the cuttie pie - alice). it's nearly impossible to get intimately familiar with 5 different characters over the course of a series. Let alone in 12 episodes. read the manga. you'll find yourself rooting pretty hard for either rei or saeko

This word "troll"... I don't think it means what you think it means. A "troll" is not someone that disagrees with your opinion or point of view.
I find nowadays that people throw around the word "troll" left and right to try and discredit someone's opinion. It is in my opinion that 90% of the time, the ones calling "troll" are the actual trolls because they intend to provoke them into a flame war.
I actually think he may actually be a troll. Going as far as saying anyone is "skum" for liking something that they themselves dislike is troll material.
by your rationale, there is a 90% chance that you are a troll because you implied that there was a high probability your opponent was a troll for originally calling people who don't enjoy this series "trolls". remember the good ol days when people would just swear at each other instead of using "clean" language to get their point accross

Strike Witches that show is so low, ya know I usually can take quite alot of fan service, but with strike withces I managed to watch only till the 7th episode after wich I said fuck it, even if they had started to have a plot after that point it wouldnt matter, this seriers disappointed me ALOT. Its on the list of my anime hatred and that list is quite short because I have pretty low standards and when you manage to go under that, you should be ashamed. And to clarify I like High School Of The Dead, Why? Because its a zombie apocalypse story, have those ever been really deep, no. And thats why I got what I expected, With Strike Withces it sounds like they have more than fan service and stupid looking propeller boots, and thats because the characters names are all taken from famous ace pilots. But OFC all todays otaku wants is lolis with annoying repeated lines that envoke "cuteness" and boobs.

Agreed. Highschool of the Dead is probably one of the worse anime of this season. The anime adaptation has totally ruined the better aspects of its manga version.
