I think Washu from Tenchi Muyo would make an awesome friend so long as she does not experiment on you.

I'm not afraid to say it but I would actually like to be friends with Konata. For various gamings reason she would be the perfect co-op partner. T.T I won't have to deal with crappy allies and crap when I go online.

I can't just befriend the whole cast of Genshiken? That would be the best of all worlds I would think. Especially for someone of such wide-ranging interests as myself.

When I pondered what anime characters I'd like as friends, I thought of:
- Konata
- Katakura Kippei from Aishiteruze Baby

Then I realized
- my best friend is a real-life Kippei
- I am on friendly terms with girls who share a lot of Konata's features.
I guess I'm happy with my friends. Which I'm damn right to be.

With Doraemon.... all you need to do is alter dimensions using the phone thingy to make you live in a world of your choosing. Just choose the world of your favorite anime series and you get your anime character AND Doraemon. It's a win-win situation.

I agree. Any one of them would make an excellent friend. I'd also like to add Nanoha and Tenshi (Kanade).

Being friends with Touma would be a lot of fun, yet the ultimate buzzkill. As a part of his band of buddies, you'd get dragged into all sorts of awesome-laced craziness, yet no matter what female you ran into along the way, they'll all go for Touma.

There's something strange about the unluckiest man on the planet, who draws more women to him than Justin Bieber. Even to this day, I'm still pondering how true misfortune ties into this...unless it's that he can't pick one without the rest trying to kill him over it. Hrm...this is a conundrum.
