Look at the anime “Hero Man” created by Stan Lee. Yes, THAT Stan Lee. The Jewish-American writer from Marvel Comics.

His anime series, produced by BONES, took place in America. And every one of the characters were American.

But they all spoke perfect Japanese.

Why is that?

And another example, from this past Spring.
The anime series “Ikoku Meiro no Croisée” (The Crossroads To A Foreign Land)
It took place in France, where everyone was supposedly speaking perfect French that sounded to me like perfect Japanese.

Can anyone answer that? O_o
