2.5D Cosplay Gallery

I feel like if REAL GIRL COSPLAYERS did these, they'd be okay. A lot of the guys have terrible stiff poses and their wigs are awful (the Cirno wig is pretty good though). Someone who's used to cosplay would know better.

For some reason it seems like these dudes' costumes would smell like dirty bed sheets and plastic.

If nothing else, I would at least like to have the Aria-shachou plush. Not for $75, though.

The ones where their expressions matched their poses were quite good, but otherwise creepy and still way inferior to normal cosplay, imo.

Some are scary and some are pretty good

i think this a lot, actually. But I think the costumes that show a lot of "skin" don't work very well. The ones that cover most of the body with clothes are pretty good.

These used to creep me the hell out, but after seeing so many of them (all on SC!), I'm beginning to get used to them.

If I could verify the player was female and of legal age, I'd tap the good-looking ones, but have the player keep the kigurumi head on, just in case she was ugly-looking.

They're not too bad actually. It's not fap material sure, but its not as bad as people make it sound. Then again, this kind of cosplay does tend to leave much to be desired of even go into nightmare fuel territory often.

The Yume de patissiere one's are really cute. I'd like to try this cosplay someday. No need to worry about my looks. And if it's a winter event, costume should keep me warms. :3

This is like Japanese version of Furries.

The only one that didn't creep me out was Pikachu.

What I don't get at all is why they wear a flesh-colored body suit with the mask and costume. Surely the fact you can SEE THE FUCKING STITCHING and folds of the cloth would outweigh the fact you can see the skin, right?

No matter how many times I see pics like these, I can't help but shudder. Not so much at the thought that underneath they more than likely are males. They just look plain creepy and disturbing. Turning 2D into 3D only works well for figures, imo.

People automatically assume that in EVERY SINGLE ONE of these pictures, there's a man inside. There could be a woman inside one of them, but these people just won't believe it. And even though I don't find kigurumi as horrific as the others on here, I just have to say, some of those were pretty damn creepy.

The mask are actually impressive. Compared to the ones you would have seen 2 years ago, these ones are much more attractive and less "creepy stare"

I actually think that these are pretty awesome. Don't care for what's under the masks and don't see the creepiness.

For what it is, these are really well done and actually do a remarkable job in capturing the essence and image of the Anime character in 3D.

Yeeaaah... I was gonna say, thought kigurumi was mostly done by guys XD, I was trying to tell by the legs. Tis hard o_O
