Maybe this is just my personal observation, but kids certainly seem to be reaching puberty earlier than they used to... Not to mention, a lot of em are even better endowed than even the generation before them.

Example.
I'm walking down the street from the cornerstore on my way home. Middleschool nearby lets out and kids come walking home. A stacked loli, no older than 13 comes walking out.

Would he be a pedophile to you? That somehow she is a victim is laughable. There were no victims, because no one did anything against their will. That's not violence, and that's not a crime. As a parent I do what I can to help my children. I give them as much knowledge as possible. I sit down and talk with them. I've already had the sex talk. I don't care if they have sex, as long as its their choice. And instead of hovering around them like a fly on shit, I let them make their mistakes and own up to them. However my relationship with them is clear. I tell them about drugs, alcohol, sex, online predators, etc. I tell them open and honestly what they are, why people do them, and what I would recommend they do so they can understand and think about it themselves. I am not going to talk down to my kids and tell them sex is bad, I said so, and no I'm not going to tell you anything more. Enjoy! That's a recipe for disaster.

Child can have sex? Sure. But why? Well, either they are imitating what they see, or they are lured by predators. They have no physical or mental development yet on sexual matters. However when they hit puberty they are instinctively going to have sex. Without it, none of us would be here. So after puberty, they are physically ready to engage in sex. I don't have to worry about my kids having sex because I've told them I don't recommend they do it because of the potential consequences and what those consequences are, and that they should come to me if they want to or are tempted so we can discuss it. And of course I've taught them about proper condom use. I don't want my kids having sex when they are only 12 and 14, but I can't stop them since i can't watch over them constantly. All I can do is arm them with knowledge. I am doing my best to let them be human. Choices shape us, and to be told what to do means we are no longer human. That's what I believe. Whether it be some asshole that rapes my daughter, or my daughter choosing to have sex of her own free will. I can't change others, I can only influence them.

My point is we'd rather try and sweep something under the rug rather than understand it. It's easier to oppress or ban something than to deal with it proper.
