Way too many of these girls are just wearing random skanky clothes or schoolgirl outfits. The ones dressing up as the most popular characters from the last year or two of anime are annoying, too. You can tell which ones really love the characters they're cosplaying as.

Regards From Mexico. I love the cosplay, but seeing these pics can see some of anguish in some of the cosplayers, even the best customes can't hide some of the fears and need of acceptation reflexed in their faces and the lack of social life out of these comikets.
My advice to them relax and have fun playing with your favorite characters but not intend to be them.

I don't know... While I'd do many a cosplayer in this gallery (though I'd select for breasts - I'm generally a DFC guy, but I've spotted some traps among the girls, so better be on the safe side) overall quality does feel a little irregular.

Japanese cosplayers seem to have a more unified level of skill than we do. But I haven't seen anything that wows me, everything just "pretty good".
We have a lot more crappy costumes than they do, but I feel our few awesome cosplays balance them out to the same overall skill level as them.
