Not to bash the show itself, but maybe if there was less focus on boobs and ass in anime, then these censorship issues wouldn't be so common today. Make it like the good old days, where we had to wait and hope for our nudity unless we were watching a harem show.

Why even pick up the show if they censor the gore and fanservice to an obscure level? Instead of using black "shadowing" to censor the gore, why not make it something worthwhile, like having rainbows and candy spill out instead of blood? I'd totally watch it, just for the laughs.

The AT-X version is edited for violence, it's not uncensored.
I'm so curious as to who seriously watches their version....even a child would be smarter than that with the internet and ATX around.
I'm so happy that most subbing groups don't bother with the censored versions...fuck this blackout censor shit, it gets worse every episode. Like you said before, they may as well not even play anything on the censored version and just have the dialog.

When did "Late Night" lose it's touch? We had Umineko that had people faces getting torn off, and stabbed in the head, and Queens Blade. Why they even bother is good question indeed.
They realized they can make assloads of money censoring the aired on TV version then release an uncensored DVD when the show is over. Otaku money falls out of wallets easily.
Except uncensored versions are easily found to contradict that. They'd actually be losing viewers/money since the uncensored is so easy to find now.
I remember the time when I was a kid, the iron curtain fell and we got porn movies for the first time on tv in Eastern Europe...
during the "late" hour of 10 P.M. and on national tv station :3
