Yeah, this is quite a normal beach view in Romania. We got used to it and don't even notice it anymore, but it's funny to see tourists being embarrassed or something or going :-0.
As for taking photos, that's not really accepted, but nobody gives a damn (you can also pretend to take pictures of the sea :-).

Fabulous chalets with 2/3 beds at good prices (modern good sized kitchen, shower etc), 4 fabulous pools in a circle with plenty of sun beds. Small, but good restaurant and bar with dancing, wine tasting, and oysters 2/3 nights a week in the summer (June, July, August, September). Miles of deserted (private) beaches. The surroundings are a (private) pine forest. Oh, and a MacD and supermarket 15 minutes drive away.

I took three weeks there two years ago, and it was my best vacation ever!

Couples/families are encouraged, but single guys/ couples are (or at least were) accepted as long as they behave. (no drunken nights annoying other guests, no ogling, no photographs of other guests - I saw one US guy and his g/f get canned for photos - they called the police, he lost his Nikon). Good place to go as a crowd, say 3 couples. Then it gets cheap 'cause one big chalet is enough for you all.
