Child Porn Sweep Targeted Loli Manga

beako-loliconyamerundesune-by-torotei.jpg

A Canadian man has been convicted of possessing child pornography on the basis of some 2,000 sexually provocative drawings. Courts heard that “to call them cartoons is to trivialize them.”

As part of a 2009 crackdown on underage pornography circulated on the internet, Canadian police launched a nationwide campaign, executing 70 search warrants, which resulted in 57 arrests.

Ottawa police searched the computer of a 27-year-old man, finding 1,974 images they considered child pornography – 1,971 of which were drawings.

Courts later found him guilty, and he has just been sentenced.

A state prosecutor condemned him as a vile child pornographer on the basis of the illustrations – “To call them cartoons is to trivialize them.”

However, a court-ordered psychiatric evaluation was forced to concede he could not be considered a paedophile.

He has been sentenced to a 90-day prison sentence, to be served on weekends, and will be on probation for 3 years as well as being listed as a registered sex offender for the next 20 years.

He was also ordered not have unattended contact with children under 14, and to submit a sample of his DNA to the state.

Should've hid his porn on an external. Better off throwing it out the window - in the worse case scenario - than having to go to court.

I guess if he did own those few pictures of actual child pornography, that probably increased the bias multiple-fold.

Pretty sad that lolicon has to be tagged into it wholesale.

Well, the sad part is, Prosecution is seen as a bit of a game on top of serving justice. The more you prosecute/judge against crime, the more gravy points you get, hence the higher chance of moving up the Prosecutor/Judge rankings.

I'm guessing that overzealousness is just getting in the way of a true dialog of why equating cartoon lolicon is not the same as real life child porn.

I have to agree on the strictest and most absolute prosecution of child porn. If that guy really has the images of child pornography, tag him with a fine. If he's propagating/creating it, tag him with jail. Just sad that entertainment media like videogames and anime/manga/erotica stuff gets hedged in. Because as far as the prosecution goes, it's just a small speedbump to getting a notch under their belts.

childpornographers should be the detectives that go through the images to see if they are in fact kiddy porn. they could sate their bizarre tastes and perform a community service.

Does children fall in love like the stories tells? For all we know they might actually be ALIENS! You cannot pass sentence on someone who have nude images of aliens. What law does that violate?

Yeah, well, the difference is that you don't arrest someone for murder because they played the game Manhunt.

Normal or not, nobody is actually hurt by what goes on in a drawing, or by looking at that drawing, so all that's left is people who can't stand that other people are even LOOKING at the stuff. There's no real evidence that looking at drawn images is going to make someone lose their mind and assault a real kid. The only thing there is people's disgust reflexes. "Ew that's gross! You're sick! You must be dangerous!"

It's convicting someone for what they THINK, not what they actually DO. So face it, moral busybodies, it's harmless, no matter how icky it makes you feel.

No, they cannot be considered CP. The fact is that there has NEVER been a case where that happened because:

    1. Even up in Canada, nude pictures of children who are not in obviously sexual positions (legs spread open, fingers holding open pussy) are legal.

    2. Canada has nude beaches and they don't want to get on the case of a parent who is going to get a LOT of outrage heaped on the law by the common man!

Nudist videos/pics are only considered CP by the hysterical people. You don't see the police going after nudists or site admins removing nudist content (example: isohunt). You only see a couple of hysterical people expressing their disgust.

What's funny about this is that due to the very strong public opinion, I can't view pictures obviously taken for a fapping purpose without feeling disgusted, even though it's 100% certain that no one is getting hurt. It's interesting how much power strangers' opinions have over you.

This is ALL about having a 'boogie man' in order to make people give up their rights and to have someone to 'bash upon'.

40 years ago? It was the homosexuals.
20 years+ before that? People having sex outside of marriage.

In the future, after pedosexuality is exposed as the NORMAL sexuality it is? I am very sure that they will try to make up ANOTHER boogie man for society.

Some of the victims, to play Devil's Advocate, should be trivialized. They are just whining about sexual encounters with adults that, if they didn't want them, they could have EASILY told the adult in question "Leave me the FUCK alone or I'm telling Mommy/Daddy/another adult!"

The real issue is that these people are WILLINGLY going into the sexual encounters. Then, their parents find out about them, go into 'outrage mode' and starting calling for people's heads or (if the child says that they liked the encounters) threaten the child with bodily harm or death!

It's time to realize that pedosexuality is a NORMAL sexuality, bring it out into the open, and legalize it. INCLUDING having sex with children, as long as that is done out in the open.

The last time I heard, you could NOT force a woman in a public bar into sex unless the asshats in the bar with you allowed you to!

The same thing would apply with pedosexuals (and even other adults), who if they weren't worthy of the trust of being left alone with the children somewhere.... wouldn't be left alone with them!

That is why for SMALL planes they ask people what they weight or weigh them BEFORE they get on the plane. With a 747 or larger plane? Not really going to matter, because they dramatically OVERestimate the weight of the average person. They take the average person as being 250 pounds, if I remember correctly from what I read an ex-pilot on Topix stated.

The future belongs to those of us who embrace progress and understanding. For a long time the backward retards of society have been able to gather en masse becoming an impediment to the human elite, those with greater intellect, creativity and more advanced and rational morality.

A group of apes can subdue the smartest one ape amongst them, if they gather themselves up. But once that ape becomes a man with a shotgun, the apes go down quickly, they submit. That is the way of the fundamental laws of this world, you defy the law of gravity and jump of a building, you hit the pavement and you become a bloody pulp.

No politician, nor democracy, no population can defy the physical laws. IF the laws permit, as they seem to do, higher states of existence, and if as has been shown throughout history power can concentrate, and it tends to do just that. Then causality takes its course, and inevitability sets in.

The human condition is not something that will remain unchanged forever, and those that are willing to embrace change of their bodies and minds(who tend to be high iq, highly creative, and far more tolerant and open in most areas), towards a higher state of existence will be able gain the upper hand.

The law is nothing more than a piece of paper backed by force, when a group of people such as the founders of the united states exceed the strength of the current authority, they have free pass. Their ways are free to become the law, irrespective of what the previous establishment or even the majority desires.

Posthuman beings are unlikely to side with backwards superstitious retarded hicks(the last generation to die of aging, that's the fate THIS WORLD DESTINED FOR THEM. THE SELF-INFLICTED DEATH PENALTY. They delayed antiaging research, they will pay the price.).

Just as all the irrational animals came under the dominion of something greater, man, so to will the unenhanced irrational masses come to fall under the dominion of that which is greater still.

We or those that come after us, are likely to be the last generation that ages. Once aging is controlled, all the blessings of decades upon decades of technological progress will be ours. With aging controlled humans will be able to physically attain bodies decades younger, even teenage bodies or younger if they so which.

All it takes is a nominal charge for adoption, and you can take them home. Hell, as the years go by they grow to be better and better (unlike real children, who there are no guarantees on). ^^

These are the only two countries in the civilised world that I know of, and in both cases there are conditions. In the Netherlands it can't be too realistic, and in Japan it can't have pubic hair or genitals, although in both cases actual prosecutions are rare.

The funny thing is, in RCMP's press conference for this "Project Salvo", they stated:

[“These on-line images and videos contain real victims—real children being sexually abused,” added Chief Constable Derek Egan, Saanich Police. “These arrests are important for many reasons-the partnership aspect, the number of arrests and the message that it sends. We will not be deterred from protecting children and making the Internet a safer place for everyone.” ] - http://www.rcmp-grc.gc.ca/ncecc-cncee/20090326-eng.htm

...What happened to "these online images and video contain real victims-real children being sexually abused" ?

I mean, if he was actually charged for the 3 REAL cp. Yes, I believe he deserves it. If he is being prodded for the 1900+ drawings, then what a douche this government is being.

On the other hand however, I have an odd suspicion that the media is playing around to generate even more headlines and heat. "Man arrested for 3 photos of CP" or "Man arrested for cartoon drawings." I'm not sure what to believe.

I don't think he "deserves it" if he only had three.

He could have had them for any reasons - it could have simply been his children without clothes ('CP'...), or it could have been real CP but ones that were planted amongst the loli-files he had downloaded. As long as we don't know the circumstances, we don't know whether he deserves to be punished or not.

UH..... kill every single person that doesn't realize that pedosexuality is a NORMAL sexuality that has been around since man evolved on this planet?

That's really beginning to be the ONLY thing that I think is going to stop this crap: sane people like myself and my friends (who are not all pedosexuals but realize that it is normal) wiping out the churches and the people who think that children 'need their protection' from sex.

That would be counter-productive. The abuse of power is the problem here, not faulty mindsets. Best thing to do is to either fight the laws, or move to countries that don't have them.

Guess it's my turn to apologize on behalf of fucked thinking in the courts.

Still, it does manage to uphold what I have always said. Call yourself lolicon or whatever term floats your boat, but in a courtroom YOUR opinion is NOT the one that will be deciding YOUR fate.

If you need to fuck your hand while looking at 2d, don't complain when your choice of visual aids could have been better chosen.

Thing is, they label anything child porn these days.
I don't consider nude pictures of middle schoolers and high schoolers quite the same as pictures of people UNDER 13.
But in a courtroom, MY opinion isn't what matters.

Now you know another good reason for 3d.
Surprisingly, I can fuck the real thing safer than I can masturbate to pictures of it.

    It's a weird world.

I agree. It's time for people to get angry and loud with the courts over this, but unfortunately when you put children and sex in the same sentence, for most people their brains drip out of their heads like they never even had one.

It's time to realize that since children are BORN with FULLY-FUNCTIONAL genitals outside of reproduction, they are supposed to be having sex from birth or soon afterwards.

Since there is no 'forcefield' between adults and children's genitalia, it's also kinda obvious that children and adults are SUPPOSED to be having sex together.

This is NOT about protecting children in the slightest. This is about asshat adults who think that they have the right to tell children what they do with their own bodies, which they do NOT in the slightest, since children are not welded to their hips.

If you want to prevent children from being forced into sex against their will? Bust their IGNORANCE as soon as possible, as I did with my children, and tell them what the fuck sex is!

keep in mind it was only 3 which could mean he was surfing the web and has cache could of picked up by accident, also the case "focused" on the loli and the psychiatric said he "couldn't be deemed a pedophile" which makes it clearer that the chance that the so call "real" CP he had on has system could of:-
    A) be in has cache from website visits (4chan,imageboards,etc)
    B) could of been has kids taking a bath *he was 27 can't rule out if he may or may not have children*
C)women who look young, *they exist*
    D) just some kids in clothing or bikinis that they consider CP *can't rule that out*

you got to remember, that not every site is safe, visiting a site downloads all the images and data on that page onto your system and many image boards (a lot have assholes putting real kiddie porn up for the laughs), have idiots that upload real cp which can be saved in your cache and fuck you up, plus they said "considered child porn" not "actually" child porn among the three so we can not really deem that the so call pictures as legit, there was a case on sankaku about a guy who downloaded CP by accident on limewire when the file said "girls gone wild", the FBI kicked in has door a year later, even after he deleted the files, the info was still on has drive, plus seriously if he was a real pedo, why couldn't they deem him one and why only 3 images ? since when do pedophiles have only three images ?

I've checked some sources, and I've seen no evidence that he had rape, bdsm, or any other themes considered hardcore. While those may be common themes, this man may have actively filtered them out, possibly leaving himself with nearly 2000 pictures of pure, innocent lolis playing in fields of sunflowers.

`The Canadian Supreme Court, on the other hand, has been more conservative than the
U.S. Supreme Court and has accepted the legitimacy of virtual child pornography only for
purely private use. That is, an individual can create and record any fantasies s/he likes but if

    This is so wrong.
This pretty much makes all hentai (manga or anime) a crime. Most hentai is basically school schenarios, but since they just base a drawn character's age by "looks" any hentai could be counted.

Is there an actual law saying "Japanese hentai is illegal"? If there isn't they might as well make one so that it's at least clear that none of the manga/anime is subject to interpretation... and while they are at it, they might as well ban all manga/anime completely because very often you get inappropriate touching/pushing in manga/anime that _could_ be viewed as sexual... Especially since most anime is about (or at least include) teenagers.

    This is just fucking insane.
By thier fucking logic all Japanese men are pedos who should go to jail. I bet a huge % of them read/watch hentai and all of them watch anime (it would be pretty hard to avoid it completely there even if you wanted to).

fuck... just imagine... a person could go to jail without having done anyone harm and without even knowing he was breaking the law... 1984 is starting to sound like utopia... at least you'd know what was forbidden...

Canada may be opening a Pandora's box of recognition that it (and most of us) just don't want.

They would have a very hard time calling one person a sexual offender solely on the notion of a cartoon, and not allowing someone calling his pillow fantasy of (an over-21 figure, of course) an anime figure as his wife/girlfriend. I think a lot of countries ban every medial form of loli, including written, spoken(audiobook) and maybe even an interpretive dance performed by adults who "move" like children. Mime child porn with adult actors behaving like children? This is going to be fuuuun~

If would love to know if a judge would deem above clip child pornography if it would have been drawn in anime style.

What would interest me is how all those anti-virtual cp laws would handle a case of a guy who paid an artist to draw virtual child pornography but never got to see it.

so.. its okay to marry an 8 year old, but if you have drawn cartoons of an 8 year old (who looks nothing like an 8 year old) than you are charged with the same sentence of molesting a child.

    MAKES PERFECT SENSE!

child pornography is wrong but loli is perfectly fine if someone was going to be a pedophile they would probally have closer to 50 or images of actually real ife kids under the age of 18 naked or sugestive secondly i know plenty of girls who are 20-25 that look like theyre some where between 16 and 18 so how do we know that the 3 pics that were considered cp wasnt just pics of people over the age of 18 that simply look really young
