“I Want Jiggling Breasts in Every Scene”

Highschool of the Dead director Tetsuro Araki has spoken of his earnest desire to fill his anime with jiggling, swaying, bouncing and rippling breasts.
From an interview in rag Dragon Age:
What would it be like if a school was overrun by zombies?
… There’d be the breasts of a hot teacher bouncing around all over the place, wouldn’t there? She’d be trying to save her class from all kinds of trouble.
I try to keep this in mind when making the anime.

I want to keep making lots of scenes full of jiggling breasts as much as possible. We really think the people who come to watch this are in it for the boobs.

Yes, it’s all about the breast jiggle. I’ve never even seen an anime with as much jiggle as this. We’re still in production for the remaining episodes but we’re going to keep at it with the jiggling.
Tell us what motivated you to make Highschool of the Dead?
I’m aiming for something I would have bought myself in middle school. At present, this would definitely have been a “buy” for me. I can feel my schoolboy heart rejoicing even now.
Truly, an artiste whose adoration of bouncing breasts has been transformed into a work all similarly minded folk can only regard as a paragon of the genre.

It is. I don't remember seeing anyone get slapped and/or groped into loving someone in the manga.
I love the manga and was really looking forward to the anime, but after reading this I guess its time drop this anime. I don't mind some fan service but I don't want to be force fed it.
The manga is overridden by fan-service all along, why would the anime be any different?
Read Act 01 and then watch the first episode, they made some changes but all the fan-service is the same on both
Nope, the difference is quite huge, actually. For one, the first chapter of the manga actually IS about killing zombies. The fanservice took over later on.

HOTD is like trying to eat meat while another dude is forcing ice cream into your mouth. Just because you hate them together doesn't mean you hate ice cream.
I honestly don't mind the fanservice since it was part of the manga and the artist behind it drew hentai anyway. I just want the storyline to develop the characters and keep up the intense drama we saw in the first episode.
Oh, and if you think the fanservice is bad here, take a look at Ikki Tousen. Seriously.

Wow, it seems like the director of the anime is even more crazy than the Shouji brothers, who wrote and drew the manga. I wonder what they'd think of what he's saying and how he looks at the anime. I guess they'd probably just lol, but it's too bad that the great manga wasn't in more capable hands to make an apt adaptation... but that's the case with most anime adaptations anyways =P

The scene after the ending song was rip-offed by another zombie-horror movie. I just can't remember which one.
I remember it was from "Diary of the dead" they both had a scene of ambulances and the undead waking up off their stretchers.
