well i would say that since they ended the series as a cliffhanger that the movie would be a continuation...hopefully the last, but i got a feeling it wont be, for the sake of money.... :/
am i the only one that thinks that the last ep of brotherhood should have not included the last 30 sec. with the pics.? really what was the whole point of the last episode then? they spend the whole episode setting up ed and al for a new journey (which is completely aimless by the way) and then they just skip everything by giving a half assed epilogue in the form of a few pics. its like the entire episode was made pointless by that. i literally cursed at the screen for a solid 5 min.
oh and don't say that the new movie will be about their journey b/c that whole notion was made null and void by the fact that we know the ultimate outcome anyway from the pics. Besides they didn't even have a real goal or anything like in the series(to get their bodies back).
I just read that L'Arc~en~Ciel is going to do the theme for this movie too!!! I can't wait to get my hands on that new single!
They did the songs "Link" and "Lost Heaven" for the first movie and intro 2 "Ready Steady Go" in the first anime, I was really hoping they would do another song for the brotherhood anime too but seeing how they do a new movie song for them I'm happy. I'm a huge fan of L'Arc~en~Ciel.

I don't know about anyone else, but the first movie just pissed me right off for some reason. The way I see it, another movie could easily be better and can't possibly be any worse, so meh, I'll probably watch it.

You know filler generally goes between parts of the main story, you know, fills in a gap, thus "filler." It's not exactly filler if it occurs AFTER the shit is done, it's called a side story or continuation then, regardless of whether or not it's considered canon or not.
