Dengeki readers continue their dubious efforts at punditry by listing the most likely anime of the coming summer season, and what they fancy as the best of the passing spring.
Notably, the ranking reveals Angel Beats has unseated even K-ON!, possibly suggesting even the previously unassailable heights of moeblob anime may be under siege by anime daring to include actual plot.

angel beats certainly the best on summer season
As if Angel Beats' plot was so sophisticated and well-written. Maybe if they made 26 episodes, it would have come out better, but from what I've seen in the 13 episodes that aired, it was a story that was rushed and ended up leaving a lot of questions unanswered.
I'll admit, K-ON!! doesn't really have much of a plot other than 'cute girls doing cute stuff while being in a band', but so far, I find that show more entertaining than Angel Beats.
I could have accepted Working!! to be above K-ON!! and Angel Beats at #3, but I find this result slightly disappointing.
And I would've liked seeing B Gata H Kei on that list as well. That show was brilliant.
Anyway, I have high expectations of Strike Witches 2 and Highschool of the Dead.

Ookami-san to shichinin no nakama-tachi first ep was interesting and Im certainly expecting more of it... But after watching Sekirei 1 I can't believe it would be 7.... it doesn't even deserves to be 10, nuf said..
On the topic of the best of spring I certainly agree with Angel Beats spot on the list, I know there were many plot holes in the series, but even with that the emotional touch and comedy moments made it for me; and besides of that there is explanation for most of the holes; Only if the anime would have been 26 ep or so... Anyways it's still better than K-ON, don't misunderstand me, I liked K-ON too, but the plot wasn't as interesting or any deep for me and I always take some points off for moe and fanservice usage..

Sekirei Pure Engagement already seen the first episode it was very good.To bad Angel Beats!, Durarara!!,Ichiban Ushiro no Dai-Maoh,Arakawa Under The Bridge shows were ok its sad to see them go.
All right Working and Angel Beats. I also enjoyed Arakawa under the Bridge. I still haven't seen K-on second season yet, the first season and especially the OVA were mildly fun to watch at first but, unlike Haruhi and Lucky Star, I have zero desire to watch any more of it.
Seeing Durarara!!, K-on!! and Working!! is enough to make me smile.. lol that the three of them have "!!" at the end of the title..

Angel Beats and Durarara rock the chart. Arakawa,Ookiku and Working is other good anime on this spring.
For Summer it seems only Ookami-san and Shiki that seems interesthing to me.

I am satisfied with these rankings, and shcoked that Sengoku (with all it's gar) ranked that high on the anticipation list. Even above Amagami? There's hope for Japanese Otaku yet.
Durarara and Arakawa Under the Bridge were my top picks. I'd also include Katanagatari, but it's still ongoing.
On the other hand, I can't believe Strike Witches 2 is #1 for most anticipated. Go figure I guess.

I mean, what else? I wish there was something new like GitS or Lupin or something... oh, you know what the world needs? A King of Fighters anime. The story is there, it just needs more depth and polishing, but it's interesting enough. I don't know why it isn't being done, it'd really shake things up in anime world if you ask me. It wouldnt be a masterpiece but it'd be a damn awesome anime series regardless. Especially if it's like those 4 short OVAs made for KOF MI.

Working and B Gata H Kei were the best and pretty much only good things to come out this summer. K-On's second season would have been better off not made, and all the best once phenominal Shonen junk from the past decade have long overstayed their welcome (Bleach, One Piece, Naruto...) Anime si so bad these days, and it's all thanks to Japan's filthy perverted otaku. All guys enjoy a little fan service, but fan service shouldn't be put in front of plot, characters, and all those other things that make a story in any form worth telling.
...but K-ON has no fanservice and it's still bad and has no plot :) - if it would at least feature more Himeko

K-On!! has no real story right now, and in the latest episode (ep 13) there are too much of Azusa's stupid dream scenes... shitty story with no real plot
It depends on what you call fanservice. The way K-On focuses on moe otaku and relies heavily on moe mannerisms and such, it could be said that each episode is made entirely of it. It's just a different kind.
Need to say that B Gata H Kei is one of the very few ecchi shows where the fanservice are fresh, really make sense and not pointless.

now combine the two and all i can see the tv version is an extended trailer for buying the dvd/bluray version, thus have not hope for that series on tv at the very least. if the studio totally pusses out, this could potentially fail hard.

Yay! Go Angel Beats. :D I didn't see Kaichou coming though as it's a shoujo and the rest are... not. Strangely, the only thing I look forward to in the summer is Digimon and I bet it'll disappoint me.
Tatami Galaxy making the list is already good news, although it should have been at the very top. Still, leaves me with some faith in Japan ─ seems like there's enough people with taste left.
