Little Busters heroine Noumi Kudryavka‘s (“Kudo”) birthday fell recently, prompting the usual otaku devotions, at its most savoury involving cake and shrines – the unsavoury parts otaku thankfully choose to keep to themselves.
Their excited state is probably only partly explained by creepy rorikon enthusiasm – as well as that, the imminent release of her own spin-off eroge “Kudo Wafter” on the 25th of June seems to be stoking the fires of their enthusiasm.
You know this only is going to hurt the individual more when they do this.
As time goes on you’ll realize in the back of the mind that even though you are having an immediate joy on what you want to obtain gets that much farther from your grasp.
Obsession with 2d girls to this extend may save you from pain and annoyances of real life, but you’re still going to remain you unsatisfied somewhere in the back of your mind. You can’t touch her, you can’t help her. She can’t touch you. She sometimes “can’t call you by name”. You can’t have a family with her.
I realized this before falling into this trap. It’s all rather hollow. I’d only think that if I did the same thing I’d be only more depressed afterwords.
I do like the cake though. 🙂
I have only 3 words for all you Otaku’s who do this.
“PLEASE STOP NOW”.
I don’t really condone such extents of “usual otaku mania”, but I’ll let this slide since Kudo is so darn awesome.
my own 🙁
