Was that capped off an analog source or something? It looks very light and washed out, like it's being viewed through tracing paper. The colors are dull and the blacks are grey.
The beach episode kind of had a point, but it was mostly just a bunch of gratuitous swimsuit/bikini fanservice. Not that I'm complaining... :3
