It doesn’t matter how big the weapon is, if you swing it around for a living, you’re going to get definition in your muscle. The Japanese obsession with heroes with physiques of 15-year-olds will always amaze me.
That said, it doesn’t really bother me enough to effect my opinion of a game, and I’m sure that is not a rare sentiment. Their game may have done a lot better if they focused on making one excellent game instead of two version of an “okay” one.

Everything that comes from 2ch stems from boredom, I don’t see how anything off the wall like this (and it is) really surprises anybody.

I’ve noticed this as well. Rather disappointing as I was immersed in Heavy Rain.

I really liked a lot of their older titles, but this is really justified. They have only released a hand full of good games in years, and they haven’t released a single great game since the First Disgaea.
- Namco: “No Perfect Tales of Vesperia Overseas!”:
The thing that really irks me with the series of late is the random dropping of voice work for their games of late. Legendia was the worst I’d seen for this by far, with the entire last half of the game being simply ignored. Abyss was great, then they half-assed the Skits, which were a defining part of the series. When I saw that they had done “full voice work” on the Perfect version of Vesperia, I was actually beginning to let myself hope again.
