The considerable overlap between Tony fans and Hatsune Miku admirers will be delighted to see Tony’s official rendition of Hatsune Miku finally rendered in wallpaper format.
The design itself is an official collaboration between Sega, Crypton and Tony first released at C77, intended to result in a figure release – the original, rather less cleaned up version can be inspected here.
Just whether this rules Miku out from ero-doujinshi treatment by Tony is an interesting question.

There's also a problem with her hair. It looks like it's rotating counter-intuitively to her head and torso.
Disregarding the perspective and the pose, I'd say that her armpit and shoulder doesn't look like what they really should.
What looks unreal is not the twisting but perspective. The perspective is (maybe intentionally) exaggerated, like a fish eye lens

The drawing is good. The quality is good. I've seen Tony's Miku before, the unrendered version. I seriously love Miku. But.... ahhhhhh why am I not liking it? Tony's wallpaper.. Her face is good, she looks beautiful. The coloring is great. So why do I feel this way? I am not excited or awed by it. Not a bit. Am I the only one feeling this?
Tony's work reeks of SAMEFACE.
