It's a shame the animation quality has gone way downhill since episode 1... It's totally crap now, not to mention it feels so rushed... it's almost as if scenes are missing (probably are)...

Watched two episodes of this anime today. Holy crap. This season is getting better and better; in the beginning there was Angel Beats!, then I discovered Kiss x Sis, now this?
Seems to me that the anime industry is headed in the right direction.
I don't know whether I should start watching this or not. I'd rather see lolis getting licked by hot women than ugly guys..

The animation work this time was by Seiya Numata, who did Needless ep.13 AND TTGL ep.4. His work causes...a lot of disagreement among viewers, to say the least.

Do you guys think we should watch Hellsing, Needless (Loveless?) and Lagann before seeing Ichiban Ushiro no Dai-Maoh? I haven't seen the former 2, only seen Lagann.
I know Hellsing is licensed, I found Needless on Animesuki but can't find Ichiban Ushiro no Dai-Maoh on animesuki, is nobody subbing it?
Yeah, I was pretty disappointed by their choice of animator this time. Stupidly sketchy artwork and overdramatic crap.

Hellsing ova is awesome. As is harem loli (moe) magic power ranger dai-maou series.
The show was starting out great, but then it just dumped down and left with a huge disappointment.
All I seen was a Giant Sea Cucumber and a Sentai character called "Hero".
Maybe that's because you're gay.
If you watched the ep, you'd hear the Hellsing reference as well.

Censoring hasn't been about preventing obscenity for years. It's all about withholding content to encourage DVD sales.
I still remember about 6 years ago what I believe was the first over-censoring of an ecchi Harem anime, Girls Bravo 1st season, and it wasn't about withholding content, it was just plain either bad choice of tv network or the chosen timeslot meant that it had to be censored the way it did (you want to know how bad it was? Try fog on your entire screen lol)
They include an abundance of fanservice for exactly that reason.
And it works quite well. ^_^

Negima comes close.
Negima as a manga maybe. The anime was fairly badly done. Negima!! is an alt universe of sorts, though I don't think it will suit the bill either. But if you ask me to list things like he described, I wouldn't mention this article's series either.
