Its obvious that Yui's folks are workaholics, they have a nice house, but they're hardly home to do much of any actual living in it.
Ui's always doing the cooking and cleaning, while Yui is always lounging around stuffing her face and snoozing.
When their parents go off on holiday, they go and leave their girls at home to fare for themselves.

Gibson Byrdland or Rickenbacker 360. Bigger, but not heavier than Gibson Les Paul Standard Gitah. Slimmer necks better suited for playing with smaller hands than Les Paul.
Gibson is not just one guitar, but many models, from reasonably priced (around 500 USD)to ridiculously expensive, like Citation for 30.000 USD.

Not for rescuing hostages, their AI is absolute shit and would instantly break trying to navigate those narrow corridors and stairs. The AI controlled bots would just jam themselves into corners and spam voice commands also.

Well excuse me for using ArchiCAD because it's more user-friendly and requires half the work time in it when I'm stuck with a 4-story building with 2,500 sqm on every story!
And I'm Using ArtLantis because it comes with a plugin. It may not have nearly as many options, but it works just as fine with me. After all, I'm not modeling a soldier skin pack for the next Unreal game, I'm modeling a house with 20 000 polygons tops.

About 200m2. Cost unknown, depends of where it is build. I think K-On! happens in not-so-big town, in eastern Japan a bit from Tokyo so it`s not the most expensive place.

My first though was ‘Man that house is huge’ - it's about as big as my parents' place and they have a free standing home in the village. Me, I'm an idiot who wants to live in the city for all kinds of reasons that are not important right now and I have to contend with circa 15 m². The only downside to Yui's home is that the ground floor is pretty much useless but that's easily fixed by ditching the second car (nobody, not even my rural parents, *really* needs a second car) and restructuring the ground floor, doing away with that stupid little corridor.
(What's with all the English room names? Don't the Japanese have words for kitchen, closet and living room?)
The Hirasawa house would probably cost about $2 million or such in places like Singapore, probably more if we're talking about a place near a large Japanese city.
Heck, it's already known that Yui's folks are decently well off enough to go on long vacations, and maybe the parents are diplomats, which is why we don't see them at all, they're just not rich by Mugi standards...

I've lived in a somewhat similar house. When it's built on several levels it just seems bigger than what it actually is.
