There are too many and a lot of them don’t work. Mainly, its because of the fact that people stop. An alternative is to just learn hiragana, katakana, and basic kanji. Then just watch some anime. Watch some more anime. Watch anime raws. Watch anime.
Its something you would do anyway. Might as well get something out of it. It won’t get you good at the language, but at least you won’t be an annoying weeaboo who uses Japanese words in English in all the wrong places.
