  Agreed. That they use Shizuka Ito instead of Rie Kugimiya is a good sign. And don’t forget that although the characters may look similar, the backdrops are completely different. People whine about lack of originality in anime nowadays, but IMHO that’s never been anime’s main strong point… Hell, if you’ve been watching anime since at least as early as the early 90s you’d realize how little has really changed.
