  “Wasn’t the Haruhi movie released in 2010, a month ago?” Yes, but these are the top movies of the fiscal year, not the calendar year. It varies by country, but in Japan’s case the fiscal year runs from April 1st to March 31st.

  My only problem with the position of the Haruhi movie is that Macross F is above it. I will reserve my impression of the Macross F movie though, since I haven’t seen it, but if it’s anything like the last third of the television series, I will most likely despise it.

  And it’s still one of the best stories ever told despite being 15 years old. And I say “despite” because you seem to think it is a bad thing, personally, I think many of the oldest stories of humanity are among the best ever.
